I have followed the lives of a lot of famous people who stated they were Christians. Some have had some kind of public moral dilemma that had happen during their lifetime. I have followed Dolly Partons career for many years. She has professed to be a Christian and as of yesterday, her last day on this earth she has not shamed God at all. In fact, she has given Him so much glory for producing so much fruit in her life.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, / gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Matthew 7:17-18 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

We all are going to leave some type of legacy behind. My husband is always preaching about the dash between your birthday and your death day. This is your legacy. If you are a Christian God has a plan for your live. Have we completed all our task as His ambassadors for His Kingdom?

Dolly Parton was unique because she had a secular life and was able to also represent her Christian beliefs through her moral character, her philanthropy, and her professed faith in Jesus Christ.

It doesn’t matter if you are famous, wealthy, poor, young, or old. We can all do something to represent the Kingdom of God in our lifetime!

I’m sure Dolly Parton heard this yesterday 8/25/26… ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Matthew 25:23 Enjoy your rewards and your rest Dolly!
