Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.(NIV)
This morning I heard God planning with Jesus, the Holy Spirit and some of His angels on assignment. They need to send certain blessing, miracles and answered prayers to many of His children on earth who have been praying for help. Some of these blessing were things that God just wanted to do special for certain people.
In their planning they are discussing those who will help on earth. They say “this one won’t help they are too busy, or this one will only take care of his own. This one is too stingy and this one is selfish. But there are many people who God can depend on to do His will. They will give the shirts off their back and are willing to help God anytime He asks. They are such a blessing to God and make the words of the bible come to life by their actions.
God will use anyone and anything to bring blessing to His children. His answers to us in our hour of need are ALWAYS PERFECT.
I hear God saying that He wants people to be compassionate. He says look around and use your eyes, ears and heart to feel the needs around you and act. HE says He’s not asking anyone to save the world but if everyone would obey when he touches a heart to act and move in a certain way to bless another person it would please Him.
Many times He is so moved by a persons compassion that He will send blessing to the one who helps. He will also send extra increase to people who do His will because He knows He can trust them to share the blessing.
Compassionate….. is one of the most beautiful words in the English language. It is an action word that when one does it, it will have a rippling effect in the lives of others.
Message for today – “Use your hands, your time, money, and heart to be compassionate and giving towards others. Listen for my lead…I will show you….I’ll give you all you need to bless others in love.”
2 Corinthians 9:6-15 6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
