(HOROSCOPES & FORTUNE TELLING  IS NOT FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES!}

Last week I was approached in a store by a woman who told me she does readings and she handed me a business card which showed she does a few things including tarot card readings. I looked at her deep in her eyes and told her God doesn’t like that and it says not to do that in the bible. She said she believes in God and she doesn’t do witchcraft. I again told her that what she is doing is wrong and she needs to stop doing it. So I gave her back her card and we parted ways. She avoided me for the rest of my time in the store. I’ve been praying for her every day. I’ve had many encounters like this and told them all the same thing. One spiritualist told me this is how their family makes a living. Many of these people go to church.

Please read the following scriptures and then I will share my thoughts:

Deuteronomy 18:10-11   Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord;

Acts16:16-19   Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17 She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” 18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her. 19 When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.

Micah 5:12 I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.

It doesn’t get any clearer than that! The bible is God’s word and commands to us all and there is no getting around it!

People are always asking me what is my sign and I always respond…”the sign of the cross.” They get annoyed when I say that.

Let me break it down….

DON’T DO THESE THINGS:

  1. Communicating with the dead or consulting mediums
  2. Palm reading
  3. Tarot cards readings
  4. Following horoscopes or signs of the Zodiac
  5. Predicting the future or psychics and fortune-telling
  6. Performing any type of witchcraft
  7. Divination or the occult
  8. Superstition and spells
  9. New age… outer body, new world order, channeling, yoga, reincarnation, crystal power, creating your own reality, holistic, meditation, visualization, god is in everything, relativism, pure harmony and unity.

Leviticus 19:31 ‘Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

Isaiah 8:19 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?

Knowing God the way I do I know …. He gets really ticked off when anyone including His very own children do this!!!! It is SIN!  God is holy and these practices are unholy. Unholiness is sin every day of the week! Don’t be fooled into thinking that it’s ok. The devil wants you to be separated from God and he’s real sneaky in getting you to think this stuff is a harmless form of entertainment.

I know you may miss your loved one and my heart truly goes out to you. They are not going to be sending you any messages. Do not seek out these mediums,  instead ask God for the grace you need to get through your heartache. He will give it to you!

Don’t ask anyone about your future. Only God has this information and if you need direction read your bible or ask God directly. You will get an answer!

If you’re involved in new age, witchcraft or any form of the occult this is your future: Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Why the heck would you want this for yourself and your children? Many children and teens cartoons and TV shows contain witchcraft! He devil is fooling you! Let’s not be ignorant of the devil evil schemes. The devil hated all human before the earth was made and devised a plan to yank you from God. He was jealous that God was planning to redeem you and adopt you into His family and make you His very own child. satan is doing everything he can to get us to turn our backs on God so that we will be cut off from Him.

Do this:

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5:8-9.

We need to be alert:

in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. 2 Corinthians 2:11

We are all responsible for what we get into our soul, mind and spirit. Don’t mess with ANYTHING that is occultish. Stick with the information and instructions that God has given us to follow in His word. That is safe and profitable for our soul!

 “HOW CAN YOU KNOW THE FUTURE? HOW CAN YOU HEAR FROM GOD?”

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT VERSE!!!

*****John 16: 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.*****

“The Holy Spirit will tell you what is yet to come!!!!!!!!!”

P.S. If you are doing these things I strongly suggest that you renounce any allegiance to these things and repent…Jesus will forgive you! James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
