God Speaks I Listen

The second title for this blog is….”Park and Pray”

Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Sometime a person just needs some real alone time with God. I love to go to my favorite Starbuck spot, get my coffee and park in their large parking lot and just drink my coffee and talk to God. I love when it’s a sunny day with big poufy clouds. I look up at the sky knowing God is way up there somewhere and I just talk to Father God about what I’m feeling, I pray for myself and others, but most of the time I spend just worshiping God.

For those who don’t have a car find a quite spot in a safe park or some special place outside and just talk to God.
I have my special Starbucks time with God at least twice a week and sometimes more. I talk to God all day every day but my Starbucks time is a little different. There is something about praying in a car. It’s so quiet and intimate. Then you have the visual by way of looking up at the sky. Sometimes I play a song that moves me into deep worship.
When I get to heaven there won’t be a Starbucks. I’ll just have straight up GOD in all His glory!!!!!
P.S. – If you turn your car off…turn off your headlights. I have recently learned that lesson 2 months ago. LOL! I’ve got my newly purchased jumper cables to prove it.
Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
