I‘ve been writing New Years messages on my blog for years. This year, because of all that’s going on in the world I was a little distracted and almost forgot to blog this message. Yes, this has been some year and the same difficulties will probably be here in the begining 2021. I pray that as the year progresses, that many victory cries will ring out as things get better.
This year we voted for a new president, are presently in a pandemic, have had many social issues, we have to wear face mask and use hand sanitizer, children are home schooled, we’ve had fires and floods, bad weather, ran low on paper towels and toilet tissue, and the most disturbing, we have to bring our own shopping bags to stores, LOL! I needed to bring a little humor because of such serious and difficult events I’ve listed here.
We used to be able to go to our places of worship or call on the pastors, deacons, elders, priest, a counselor, therapist or psychiatrist. Many of these people are not available now. There are even limits on the availability of any medical help. So many people have lost loved ones and in some cases many family members and friends.
It is clear to see that 2021 is going to have its challenges. But there is help and comfort available to every single person. The words that I feel in my spirit for this season is “You and God!”
This year is going to be You and God, the Good Shepherd and the Holy Spirit! I feel the following scripture so strong in my heart, I could cry….
The 23rd Psalm
1The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
I see a vision and it’s all of us who are looking for comfort, safety, grace and mercy. We are all sitting in a field and Jesus is speaking to us and He said to us FEAR NOT! He says for us to bring all our burden to Him!
Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
The Lord has given me this vision for all of us for this season:
In the vision as we are all there in this field with Jesus the Good Shepherd, we are all standing at His feet. Many people are looking bewildered and forlorn. Jesus supernatually has His arms around each of us individually and is hugging us so lovingly. The Holy Spirit is also there, and He is anointing each one of us with oil. He is saying something to us. I can hear Him saying these words “peace be with you!” Each person falls to the ground and sleeps for a while. We all get up. Jesus and the Holy Spirit have left but the anointing remains on everyone and we all start singing songs of praise.
This is the time to interact with God on a much deeper level so that you can experience the fullness of His grace that He has for you and I to make it through 2021. The is no other help but God. I know from personal experiences that are to long to share here. Some of you know some things because I have written about them in my blogs over the years. I have gone through some VERY trying times BUT GOD!!!
Because of the pandemic and the shock and fear of it….it caused me to write a book. I can’t believe that I wrote a book!!! I didn’t do well in school and when God suggested I write this book I was like…who me? LOL! I see now that God wanted me to share the why and the how of how I became obsessed with Him. I think I understand now why He had me write this book. In my book “Obsessed With God” I share about my intimate relationship with God and how you can have one too. God encouraged me to write this book at a time when we all need to be so close to God. I pray you can get my book on Amazon.com and that it will bless you.
There is no other help, BUT GOD, that I know of that can help you!
Don’t be fearful, but you should be cheerful with Jesus as your Good Shepherd!
He has given us amazing grace which WILL help us through EVERYTHING we will go through in 2021!!! Even though your heart my be heavy and you feel a little scared…read the scriptures above, close your eyes and meditate on the fact that God said He will be there for you! See yourself with the Good Shepherd as He is your protector. Say to yourself…it is well with my soul because…..Rev. 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” It gonna be alright after while!!!
May the Lord bless you and your whole family. May He keep you safe, healthy and strengthened your heart and mind. May you have all the courage you need to make it through every situation you may face. To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen Jude 1:24-25
Peace to you in the new year!

Amen and amen Tanya. I definitely agree with you. It’s amazing how the Lord has shared a similar message with me as well. I believe that this year is a time for all to embark upon deepening our relationship with God and this strengthening the saints with revelation as to how we should proceed in our relationship with God going forward. Stay blessed sis! – Sherline 😇😁👑👏🙌
