New Year Message and Prayer for 2021

I‘ve been writing New Years messages on my blog for years.  This year, because of all that’s going on in the world I was a little distracted and almost forgot to blog this message.  Yes, this has been some year and the same difficulties will probably be here in the begining 2021. I pray that as the year progresses, that many victory cries will ring out as things get better.

This year we voted for a new president, are presently in a pandemic, have had many social issues, we have to wear face mask and use hand sanitizer, children are home schooled, we’ve had fires and floods, bad weather, ran low on paper towels and toilet tissue, and the most disturbing, we have to bring our own shopping bags to stores, LOL! I needed to bring a little humor because of such serious and difficult events I’ve listed here.

We used to be able to go to our places of worship or call on the pastors, deacons, elders, priest, a counselor, therapist or psychiatrist.  Many of these people are not available now.  There are even limits on the availability of any medical help.  So many people have lost loved ones and in some cases many family members and friends.

It is clear to see that 2021 is going to have its challenges.  But there is help and comfort available to every single person. The words that I feel in my spirit for this season is “You and God!”

This year is going to be You and God, the Good Shepherd and the Holy Spirit!  I feel the following scripture so strong in my heart, I could cry….

The 23rd Psalm

1The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I see a vision and it’s all of us who are looking for comfort, safety, grace and mercy. We are all sitting in a field and Jesus is speaking to us and He said to us FEAR NOT!  He says for us to bring all our burden to Him!

Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

The Lord has given me this vision for all of us for this season:

In the vision as we are all there in this field with Jesus the Good Shepherd, we are all standing at His feet. Many people are looking bewildered and forlorn. Jesus supernatually has His arms around each of us individually and is hugging us so lovingly.  The Holy Spirit is also there, and He is anointing each one of us with oil. He is saying something to us.  I can hear Him saying these words “peace be with you!”  Each person falls to the ground and sleeps for a while.  We all get up. Jesus and the Holy Spirit have left but the anointing remains on everyone and we all start singing songs of praise.

This is the time to interact with God on a much deeper level so that you can experience the fullness of His grace that He has for you and I to make it through 2021.  The is no other help but God.  I know from personal experiences that are to long to share here.  Some of you know some things because I have written about them in my blogs over the years.  I have gone through some VERY trying times BUT GOD!!!

Because of the pandemic and the shock and fear of it….it caused me to write a book.  I can’t believe that I wrote a book!!!  I didn’t do well in school and when God suggested I write this book I was like…who me? LOL!  I see now that God wanted me to share the why and the how of how I became obsessed with Him. I think I understand now why He had me write this book. In my book “Obsessed With God” I share about my intimate relationship with God and how you can have one too. God encouraged me to write this book at a time when we all need to be so close to God.  I pray you can get my book on Amazon.com and that it will bless you.

There is no other help, BUT GOD, that I know of that can help you!

Don’t be fearful, but you should be cheerful with Jesus as your Good Shepherd!

He has given us amazing grace which WILL help us through EVERYTHING we will go through in 2021!!! Even though your heart my be heavy and you feel a little scared…read the scriptures above, close your eyes and meditate on the fact that God said He will be there for you!  See yourself with the Good Shepherd as He is your protector. Say to yourself…it is well with my soul because…..Rev. 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” It gonna be alright after while!!!

May the Lord bless you and your whole family.  May He keep you safe, healthy and strengthened your heart and mind.  May you have all the courage you need to make it through every situation you may face. To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen Jude 1:24-25

Peace to you in the new year!

A Serious Message 2020

This was my last years New Years message. I will be praying for the message for 2021 in the next few days. Lets reflect on this years with this blog written almost a year ago. I has been some year hasn’t it? If you are still here to read this….praise the Lord God Almighty. We MUST keep our eyes on God and our heart full of praise no matter what. May the Lord keep you strong spiritually and physically. In Jesus name…Amen.

God Speaks I Listen

For the past few years I have noticed a sharp change in every area of mankind’s life and a severe change on our planet earth. I’ve written many blogs over the years on what I’ve noticed. I wrote a blog in 2011 on what is happening in this world spiritually which is predicted by God Himself in the bible. This is the main scripture for what’s going on:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2). People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3). without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4). treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5). having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

In the past few months I‘ve…

God Speaks I Listen

a christmas prayer

Dear God,

On this day December 25th we celebrate the day your only Son was born…but God…this is a blessing I think about daily.  I’m soooooo grateful that you loved me your creation…that you wanted me to be your child.  That you wanted to remove that awful original sin from me…. That you wanted me to be your friend….and you did all of this because…..YOU LOVE ME!  God…every time I think about this love it makes me want to weep.  My eyes are watering right now as I’m writing this.

God…you rescued me…your Son saved me!  Although everyday is Christmas and everyday is Easter for me….I take a little extra time to meditate on your goodness today and to celebrate that day Jesus made His personal appearance on earth as my Savior and was Emanuel.  I will celebrate this wonderful day with my family you gave me and we will Glorify…

Thanksgiving, pandemic…really?

This year has been…CRAZY!  Do I really feel like celebrating…Thanksgiving? Many people have lost loved ones or are sick themselves.  We have political situations going on and civil unrest pressing us every day.  People have lost their homes to fires and flood.  Many have lost jobs and their business.  So how can we feel thankful at this moment?

My personal life has been affected by this year’s many events and also with just life’s regular trials and tribulations.  Today as I was praying to the Lord, I was thinking about all that we ALL have been through in 2020.  I wanted to write something so profound that it would make everybody feel so much better today.  I thought hard about this and I came up with this very simple answer but it’s the most powerful answer ever!  I’m thankful for Jesus.  I’m so thankful for Jesus sacrifice. Because of what Jesus did, I can say with certainty that… It is well with my soul!!! The words of this beautiful song sums it all up for me!

When peace like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul

It is well
With my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul

I tell ya’ll…. when you have Jesus Christ in your life and you know that because of Him nothing can harm your soul…not even death….man oh man!… That info gives me so much peace!!!  Even if everything around me is sinking, I know that my heart and my soul are standing on solid spiritual ground.  I’m so glad that Jesus gave His life for me so I can have this blessed assurance!!!!  2020…I’ve got Jesus love and help, and YOU can NOT take that away from me.

Thank you, God, that no matter what storms may come my way, I KNOW that your amazing, wonderful and plentiful grace is there for me. I know you will get us all through these fiery trials.  Please help us to keep our eyes on you.  You told us to come to you, we who are troubled with heavy burdens.  Lord…please let us rest in your loving arms…in Jesus precious name.  Amen

Friends, family, acquittances and strangers…it’s gonna be OK!  Hang in there! God’s got you!

Dear 2020……

Dear 2020,

You have been a very challenging year. Every day you bought us the unexpected, the trying and the difficult.  Some days I thought I was waking up to a movie, but soon realized it was our new reality.  There have been many times that I’ve hated what you bought.  You have been like a tornado with your paths of destruction. This year has defiantly been filled with pain and aguish. I have witnessed the suffering of so many.  You bought in a wave of violence and anger like I’ve haven’t seen since I was a teenager.

2020, you tried to shut the world down, but you just can’t do that….it’s not your world.

So many beautiful things have come out of the ashes of this year.  We saw nurses, doctors and essential workers from every walk of life give of themselves to help others.  We saw volunteers give out food and anything else they could do to help people.  We saw firemen, policemen and our service men and woman devote themselves to saving lives.  We saw people coming out of the woodwork to do things for others like never before.

2020, you had us on our knees praying like we never prayed before. You thought we were weak. But we know the bible says when we are weak, we are strong. We surely have had the strength of the Lord during these trying times.

As a result of this, we all got to experience the sufficiency of God’s grace.

For me personally 2020, your scary and confining moments made me write a book dedicated to knowing God more intimately called “Obsessed With God.” What you meant for evil, God used it for good for me. Yeah 2020, you don’t really have power over my life, God does.  You will be gone soon and 2021 will be the next to try to work his stuff, BUT GOD! No matter what may come, my God will be there with His grace and mercy.  Just like He is getting us through this year, He’s already worked things out for next year.

As long as I submit myself to God, I can say with all certainty, it will be well with my soul. So, 2020, you have been defeated!

My hope is in the Lord! He is the good Shepherd! I will be ok! So, in just 5 short week it’s so long for you! The curtain is coming down on your mess. We can only go up from here! 2020 thought he could bring about humanities demise, but God plans have already been laid out. Jesus made His plans a reality.

2020..boy…by!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

COMING SOON!!!!

I‘ve written a book called “Obsessed With God.”  Subtitle “exploring intimacy with God.” It will be available next month.  This book reveals some of the very personal thing I say in my private prayer to God and how He affects me when I Pray.

My granddaughter told her mom “grandma’s obsessed with God” so that’s the reason for the title.  I hope you will want to buy a copy.  Thank you to all my followers old and new!  I’m already working on my second book for release in 2021 called “The Holiness of God.”

(I will post all the info for purchasing the book soon.)

Emergency Repentance

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

It was a beautiful day in 1995, but not so nice for me.  I was suffering every day from a rare undiagnosed medical condition.  These awful stroke-like episodes came on me daily and this day I thought it was going to be my last day on earth.  I was home alone too.  I sat in my kitchen chair and leaned my head back not knowing how far todays horrible symptoms would take me.  I was having a great deal of trouble breathing.

I didn’t call anyone or try to go to the ER because I had been having these episodes so often and doctors had no idea what wrong with me so why bother to call an ambulance.  I leaned my head back in my chair and I remember how scared I was and how desperate I felt in that moment.  I felt like I was going to pass out, so I very quickly asked God to forgive me of all my sins.  I was already a Christian, but I felt that I needed to make sure that my heart was totally clean inside.  I wanted to repent for anything that I had done because I thought any second I was going to die. Psalms 6:2 Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint; heal me, LORD, for my bones are in agony.

My mother- in- law who is home with the Lord had to be bought back to life with CPR and the electric shock paddles.   She told me the exact same thing happened to her.  She said she asked God to forgive her in those frightening moments when she thought she wasn’t going to live.

We humans, all over the entire world right now are being faced with the possibility of illness and or death.  This is a time to ask God to forgive you, to wash you clean.  It’s truly a time to seek repentance.

This is not meant to be a discouraging blog to today.  But it’s an uplifting thing to feel clean inside of your soul.  Cleansing is available because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus can wash our spiritual insides clean when we repent or ask for forgiveness for the wrong or sinful things that we have done.

This is a very strange and difficult time for humanity, but there is a peace that comes over us when we are right with God!

I still suffer with many illnesses.  I’ve had cancer, major surgeries and a stroke. I have 2 rare disorders, and many medical problems.  There are many things that I have learned throughout all of these problems and that is to make sure that I’m living as God has told me to live in the bible.  I also know that I want my heart to be clean.

I want to live like today is my last day on planet earth.  To me that means telling as many people about Jesus as possible and also appreciating those around me like family and friends. Lastly, I’ve learned to keep my relationship with God on a high level, not for God, but for me.  With all that I’m going through and what is going on in this world…I NEED all that GOD has to offer me!!!!

1 Peter 4:12-13 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

Psalms 27:4-5 One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
