God Speaks I Listen

I know that you are aware that I haven’t been posting lately.  I have had brain fog because I have suffered with a chronic illness and find it difficult to concentrate and to write.   I started blogging in 2011 and I can tell you it’s been a real miracle because of the learning disability I suffer with.  I have shared so much over the many years of blogging.  I’ve told my most difficult challenges and my happy times too. 

The most important times I’ve shared has been about my intimacy with God.  I’ve shared how much God loves me and you.  The big take away here in my blogs is about putting God first and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others!  Jesus has made all this even possible!!!

I may write something in the future if I feel the Lord leading me to do so.  I want to leave that open door. But for this season I will concentrate on doing His will with the time God has graced me to be here on this earth.  I’m desperate for the world to know my Jesus so their souls may be saved and destined for heaven.

I have met so many people on WordPress that I call my friend like Debbie: Musings by an ND Domer’s Mom, Sherline’s Watchu Thinkin’ Blog, Jeanne: WOMEN’S WINDOW: Tricia’s Journal Jots Blog, and many others.  Thank you so much for your friendship.

Please think about all the things I’ve shared.  It took me soooo long to write each blog.  I did it to share how GREAT God is and how much He loves you!  I give God all the praise for what He has allowed to do post on WordPress.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:24-25

You know that God is in you. Do you feel Him in you? He wants to be a part of your everyday life. He gave you life and bought you for a price. When you accepted His Son Jesus as your Lord and Savior… God became your Father and now He owns you. All He ask is that you love Him and love others. You need to praise Him not for Him… but for your own sake. When you praise Him you have His attention and He inhabits your life and your inner man in a deep and personal way. When you need Him He’s right there. Because He owns you… you’re His responsibility now. Father God takes care of His Children!!!

This coming year 2019 you will need to be keenly aware of His presence! You need the security of being able to sense that He’s very close to you. This is done by praising and worshiping Father God. Praise Him while the sun is shining because when it starts to rain things can become very challenging. If you learn to praise and worship Father God in the sunshine then when the rain comes you can endure and maintain your joy much easier. There have been many nights of weeping for many people in 2018 and the weeping will not stop going forth. The earth and everything in and around it is in hard labor. Jesus return is coming soon. Gods worshiping children will experience strength, comfort, endurance, peace and will have great hope and will be blessed with amazing grace!!!

You don’t need to go to a place of worship to praise Father God. Praise Him in your heart all day and night wherever you are. Everything you need to know to get through 2019 is in the bible. Study and meditate on God’s word daily. Worship is going on in heaven right now and we should be doing this also down here on earth. Don’t be distracted by everything that is going on in this world right now. Be distracted in a good way by your worship and praise to God.

THIS SONG IS EXATLY WHAT I HEAR THE HOLY SPIRIT IS SAYING FOR 2019!!!! WHEN WE FOCUS ON JESUS….THE THINGS ON EARTH WILL NOT BE AS PAINFUL!

Please don’t read this blog and go on your merry way. The rain is falling on the unrighteous…but the righteous are being affected too!!! Danger and situations are affecting everyone. The peace you need is the real peace that only God can give. God is your help! Man is limited in how he can help man. People are crying out to God for help because God CAN WORK IT OUT FOR YOU!

I’ve been warning people about events and things for many years. In 2008 I posted in my New Year’s blog that things were going to get rough because God was going to do His own thing His own way. My husband and I were saved/born again as kids but we both ignored God’s voice calling us to be committed to Him. God turned up the heat (trials…suffering). It was so hard to deal with so much turmoil in our lives that we both cried out to God for help. That was 30 years ago since we became committed to God and started living like how God wanted us to live. Life was still difficult at times… but when I look back I can see all the help and all the strength God gave us to make it through every trial!!!

With what I know about the drama coming in 2019 …if you don’t make a change in your life to put God first…to love Him like crazy…then when the storms come you will feel like you’re in a boat all by yourself in the middle of the ocean.   Oh the horror of that feeling!

I don’t want to be a Debbie downer here today….I’m throwing out to you life perseveres… releasing some life boats and anything else that can help somebody avoid inner turmoil, stress and a feeling of hopelessness. What do you do when your back is against the wall? What do you do when a fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, mass killing, accident, illness, etc. comes across your path? What will you do if the devil whispers in your ear that nobody cares about you and you need to take your own life?

I know…you will…Praise and worship the Lord your Father God and submit to His will and His way!

This is how God can help you when you put Him first. After you wake up from an operation the pain is really bad. As soon as the nurse sees that you’re awake she rushes over with a needle and injects you with pain medication and immediately the pain stops. The incision is still there but the nurse was able to make you comfortable. Jesus is able… by the power of the Holy Spirit… to comfort you! Not only is God helping with the pain but He is also working on helping you through the problem too.

YOU NEED TO BE ASSURED THAT IF YOU HAVE A SITUATION….GOD WILL BE THERE!!!!! HE WILL HELP YOU GET THROUGH IT!!!

Lastly for 2019 God wants you to be assured of His love for you! The only way you will know this is by studying the bible AND by praying/talking to Father God very often. There are no short cuts for this. Believe the bible and converse with God.

I pray for all of you for 2019….that you can see that things on this earth are steadily getting worse and the way to have less stress and to get peace of mind is your relationship and interaction with Father God. These declining earthly things have been predicted in the bible so this is no surprise to us. But seeing it happening and experiencing it… it is unsettling and surreal. In the past several years I’ve had a family member shot and killed, endured extreme damage due to hurricane Sandy, had a family member commit suicide as well as many of my friends have lost loved ones to suicide also. I’ve endured cancer and illness, financial crisis, etc. Without Jesus love, compassion and help….I’ve never could have made it!!!!

2019 Praise the Lord with your lips and in your heart!!!

Genesis 6:5
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. At the time of Noah every person except for Noah and his family had wickedness in their heart. That is not the case today…but there is a lot of wickedness and sinfulness on this earth right now. God is NOT a fan of this kind of behavior.

 
Romans 1:28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. This scripture was taking about sexual sins but there is a lot of that going on in today’s world.

GOD AIN’T PLAYIN’ WITH ANYBODY!

God don’t play!
Folk’s betta stop changin’ up His word!
Stop watering down the bible!
Changing laws that go against God’s word!
Stop disobeying God!
Repentant for your wrong doings!
Stop making your own plans!

 
God is love but………..Because of who He is….pure and holy….He demands that ALL…EVERYONE bow to His power and authority or else! He gives plenty of mercy and grace…but when you cross the line that he set up…then justice will be served whether you think it’s fair or not. God’s world…God’s rules!!!

 
You don’t have to follow if you don’t want to but be warned…there will be a price to pay. Jesus paid a very high price so that you can be right with His Father. But if you do things your way you will pay a very high price for your rebelliousness.

Many people think that God is mean and sadistic! They think this is not the way a loving God should act. You can say what you want to about His rules. God is not moved by how you feel about Him. The people who think God is horrible when something bad happens is a person who doesn’t understand or know who God really is.

 
You learn who God is by 4 things:
1. The bible
2. The holy Spirit
3. Prayer
4. Trials and victories

 
Psalms 33:8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!

 
You have to “get God”. When you get Him you love Him just because of who He is. This doesn’t mean you understand His ways…it just means you know that He is set apart from anything in your realm of normal. You understand that God is supernatural. You understand that He has made provisions to take care of you here on earth and after your death. After accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior you have built in assistance by means of the Holy Spirit. You are good to go!

This scripture verse really moves me to tears for those who go against God’s word or for those who are following a sinful lifestyle…….It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31 other versions use the words terrifying and fearful. GOD DOES NOT PUT UP WITH SIN!!!! When people go against God we all suffer for it. God’s children also suffer in calamities.

 
So the big controversial question is….Has the increase in catastrophes in the past several years have anything to do with God’s judgment on mankind?  I do know that humanity’s  rejection of Jesus Christ and  living wickedly is NOT helping our situation. I know from the following scripture that God predicted these things will happen:   2 Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. We are experiencing a decline in morality which can lead to judgement from the power that be.  That be…God.  God have mercy on us!
So what now? What do we do? We are all at risk at being caught up in the cross fire. But don’t fear, live a righteous life, stay prayed up and know your bible. Be careful, wise and alert. Do what you can to keep you and your family safe. This is the big thing for me….I feel God is telling me to do what He’s asked me to do which is to build His kingdom by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples. I must also keep my eyes on Jesus and stay focused!

 
We all are seeing an escalation of really horrible catastrophes and we will see much more in the days, weeks and years to come. We know that the whole creation has been groaning like the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Romans 8:22. As labor progresses the pain gets worse. The planet earth is in distress with all the earthquake, fires, floods, tsunamis, volcanos, mudslides, sink holes and tornados. Man is plagued with illnesses, extreme wickedness and mental deterioration.

 
It has been so surreal to watch the news now that I feel numb because things are happening so often. It’s not shocking anymore sadly… it’s almost expected. It has caused me to pray much more and to stay real close to God. This is the new normal now. This old hymn really says it all:

My Lord…I don’t have much time…can you please forgive me and save my soul?

Do you know what happens to you when you think you’re going to meet you’re maker in the next few seconds? I know because it happened to me once. I was so sick and I felt myself fading. Even though I was already saved when this happened to me years ago, I still wanted to make sure that I was clean inside before I saw God. Through my tears in that sacred moment I asked God to forgive me of anything I had ever done. My mother in law who had to be bought back to life with the paddles told me she had the same reaction to facing possible death.

 
Ephesians 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. We have to be holy and blameless in order to see God. The Holy Spirit in us helps us with seeking obtain holiness.
Jesus died on the cross so He could make this available for us: Jude 1:24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—

 
I’m telling you when you feel you are about to leave this world…a unique feeling comes over you in that special moment in your life. You feel that your physical condition is so severe that you think to yourself…this is it. You become keenly aware of your soul and where it’s going. The fear of seeing our powerful and mighty Father God comes over you. You feel that you don’t want your heart to be dirty. The reality of death is so very real to you in that moment. After I asked the Lord to forgive me, I had a unique sense of peace. I leaned back in my chair and waited for death to come, but that was not the day I was going to die. I will never forget that few minutes of my life.

 
From that near death experience I learn the importance of needing to be clean inside in order to see God. I know how to be forgiven in just seconds. A person may only have minutes and maybe a few hours like the thief on the cross to make a decision for accepting Jesus into their life. Jesus said to that thief on the cross “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” At that point in that man’s life, I’m sure Jesus words were music to his ears and great news for his soul.

 
BUT WHAT IF YOU DIE INSTANTLY?

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. That is it for you! No time to repent! You die spiritually for eternity! God never wanted that to happen to His creations! The Holy Spirit has been trying to contact you your whole life to get you to open your heart and mind to accept Jesus sacrifice for your original sin. This is so that you could be presented before His very Holy Father God. There is no other way to God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 
In my near death experience, I had already accepted Jesus to be my Savior. But when the reality that I might be leaving this life became real to me… I felt the presence of God in those moments and I felt an awareness of my own soul like never before. I felt God’s perfection and I felt my own imperfection and humanity. There was a distinct difference in that moment. Imminent death is no joke!!!!

 
In our world today people are being plucked out of here so quickly that it’s scary. Tsunami’s, floods, hurricanes, tornados, volcanos, typhoons, lightning strikes, sinkholes, structure collapses, mass killings, fires, accidents, random attacks, bombings are coming so frequently that everyone knows something has changed and that tragedies have accelerated in our world. But scarier than any of these horrible things is what happens right after we die physically? It’s something that you want to make absolutely sure that you have the correct information.

 
Many people don’t believe in hell at all. Some people think that everyone who dies goes to heaven. How can one be sure about all this religious stuff? The universe and the planets didn’t just appear out of thin air. When you look up in the sky on a clear day and see the beautiful white puffy clouds and the blue sky and you know that just beyond that there is no oxygen and it’s black and cold. You have to ask yourself how is it possible that this planet is sustained like this and no other planets are in this solar system. It’s simply too amazing!!!!

 
I have a very rare and complex medical condition called Periodic Paralysis. It’s an autosomal dominant channelopathy disorder. It’s the movement of sodium and potassium ions from one side of the muscle membrane to the other creates an electrical current. For the muscles to work properly these ions must be kept in the correct ratio both inside and outside the cell. In periodic paralysis the ion channels fail to regulate the flow of ions properly when potassium levels in the blood fluctuate. The ratios of sodium and potassium inside and outside the cell become unbalanced. The muscle responds less when asked to move, which is felt as weakness. If the imbalance becomes pronounced the muscle quits responding at all, i.e. becomes paralyzed. Complicated huh?

 
The reason I share this is because it shows just how complex and unique the human body is. When I use too much energy, eat too much carbohydrates, get sick, take certain medications or skip a meal, my delicate metabolic balance goes awry and causes extreme weakness of any muscle in my body and can even cause paralysis and death. There are so many systems in the body and each one is run by a delicate balance and if something is a little off…bam! One being is responsible for this and He’s the creator of all life. God is responsible for designing our unbelievably complex bodies. (Adam, Eve and the satan are responsible for illnesses.)

 
So in God’s creative mind He decided to make humans and we would be very special to God over His other created beings. But because of His holiness and Him being so set apart from humans, He came up with a great plan to accomplish the ability to adopt us. He sent the 3rd person of His unique Godness. (yes I made up that word) Because of His love would for His Creations He humble Himself and become a lowly man. He ALLOWED Himself to be humiliated, tortured and eventually murdered so that we could live with Him FOREVER. Jesus did that so someone could say that 10 second prayer if they were unsaved needed to repent quickly!!!

 
Why did I become a Christian in the first place…what inspired me to believe in God? My parents were the ones who introduced me to the idea of God. Once I understood that there was a God I already felt that He was a part of my life but I kept Him on the outside. One day when I was a teenager I was watching Billy Graham on TV and I heard that I was a sinner and I learned just how much Jesus loved me. This message touched me so much that I understood the message, repent of my sins and accepted Jesus as my Savior. I strayed away from my Christianity as I grew into adulthood. Then In 1984 I became a committed Christian. Why? Because God had just given me the greatest miracle of my life. He healed me of totally of depression and suicidal attempts. It was a miraculous healing I am so grateful to God for healing my mind!

 
This blog is very long today because I am very concern about the tragic and fast rate that people are dying these days. Some may never even get to pray the 10 seconds because in one second they’re here and the next second they’re gone. They had NO opportunity to make sure that they made the RIGHT decision for their eternal life. I know I’m saved. I could keep my mouth shut and just die happy…but my loved ones, your loved ones need to hear the good news of the gospel!!! You only get one chance to get it right. Hebrew 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,  After you die your decision is right there. People who don’t believe that Jesus is the way to heaven and people who don’t believe in any God at all get so angry when a Christian tries to share their faith. But why in the world would I endure their harsh words, criticism and sometime anger towards me. I don’t want to go through that…who would? But I do it because I really care others and Jesus asked me to share His good news with others.

 
If you’re saved…save others! Be a light that will be a beacon for other souls! Be salty so that others can taste and see that God is good! Let God use you! Be available for His service. There is NOTHING that we can give an almighty power being like God. But we can use ourselves to be a servant and let Him use us to build His kingdom. My heart wants to do this for Him. He’s done so much for me!!! He’s given me eternity. The least I can do for Him is to give Him my humble service.

I have two bible heroes. One is the dedicated and committed to God Enoch and the other is the woman who washed Jesus feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. I was thinking if I was able to physically be near Jesus what in the world would I be able to do with my short kinky hair? How could I possible dry off His feet with my kind of hair? I could do the tears but Jesus would have soggy feet! I know that if I was with Jesus I would just be kissing His feet so much so until they would have to pull me off of Him! Jesus would be hollaring…”SECURITY!” All kidding aside…how can I worship Jesus here and now and for the rest of my earthly life?

These 3 scriptures says it all for me:
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship.

 
Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

 
James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Love God and worship Him like crazy!!!

You sure do!!!

Jeremiah 10:14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

 
Brutish means…Insensible; stupid, Ignorant; uncivilized; untaught, savageness.

Men and women think they are smart. Toddlers go to pre-school, children go to elementary school, teens go to junior high and high school and adults go to college and beyond. Now they think they know a little something. They think they are now wise and clever. But compared to Gods knowledge man is …um…well…stupid. I didn’t say that…the bible expresses that. Stupid is a very rough word. When my kids were little I didn’t allow them to use that word. It’s hard to hear that the bible uses the word stupid in reference to mankind, but if that’s how God sees us then who am I to dispute God’s perception of our knowledge compared to His overall knowledge.

 
1 Corinthians 2:16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

 
So if the bible says that we are senseless even though we are educated…then if we make Jesus our Lord and Savior and have the mind of Christ then we can have supernatural wisdom pertaining to our lives and others. We will have spiritual knowledge through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We will not fall for idols, witchcraft, and anything that is not pleasing to God. We wouldn’t be lead to follow things that are not His will for our lives.

 
Isaiah 5:21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.
We know the unsaved don’t have the mind of Christ…and unfortunately even some of the Church doesn’t either.

 
Psalms 94:11The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.

 
When you have a good relationship with the Lord and have knowledge from the bible, you will have a better chance of spiritual success. This is a great thought from Psalms 119:133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity (sin) have dominion over me.

 
Why am I talking about this at all? We humans think we know a great deal. We have figured many things out to advance our quality of life. We’ve figured out how to fly. We’ve built incredible things such as skyscrapers, bridges, computers, cars, phones, rocket ships and so much more. We also have developed amazing medical feats such as making a baby in a medical dish and cloning animals. Man is very smart. But in light of who God is man is stupid. God’s knowledge is so out of the realm of mans knowledge that it shouldn’t be spoken of in the same breath.

 
Knowing how smart God is should give us respect for who He is and we should be in great awe in His superiority and greatness. It makes what Jesus did on the cross so much more powerful because of God’s greatness reaching down to us to pull us up to Him and all that was motivated by pure love!. It makes God’s love for us sooooo much profoundly deeper. It should make our dependency on Him much more needed because of His incredible and perfect wisdom.

 
I bow down on my face before my Holy God in absolute awe!!! How dare I think I’m all that and a bag of chips before my God…the Holy God of all universes!!! If it wasn’t for the Holy Spirit inside of me guiding me and Jesus sacrificial act I would be nothing!!!

 
If Jesus has the fullness of God in Him and I’m abiding in Jesus then I can make it. But not on my own or with my own knowledge because I am stupid on my own! I’m blessed with Jesus though. I need Jesus, I need the Holy Spirit. I don’t want to run my life on my own. I have tried and fail miserably!!! Example, my husband and I tried to undo something that was good for us in the long run. We fought to do it and was so disappointed when it didn’t happen. Well years later it turned out that denial was the greatest blessing in our lives! When we figured this out we said to each other…”we were so stupid. We didn’t even know what was good for us!” But God knew!!!

 
We must humble ourselves before our incredible God and His all knowing all powerful knowledge and let Him guide His best for our lives. We should blindly trust God!!!!

 
We need to meditate on God’s superior wisdom and knowledge. It’s so far above ours that it makes dealing with our difficulties in life so much better knowing that He knows what’s best for us. You will pray harder because you know God has a perfect answer for your prayer request. We are indeed blessed. The bottom line here is… Don’t be….stupid!…“Put your trust in God!”.

No real power!!!  Just a man.  But not God who has all power!!!

Man made computers and they are very smart and can answer many questions and give lots of answers. But they cannot change a person life. They have no real power. Like in the wizard of Qz…the wizard had real no power. Jesus has ALL power! Get with Jesus! Repent! Humble yourself! You will be blessed!

That’s why you need Jesus!!!!

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (KJV)

Abiding is made possible in a person’s life post salvation only!

The meaning of abide: to remain, continue and stay with. To lodge, sojourn, and dwell with. To await, live and stand with.

Him in me and me in Him!    Him in me and me in Him!

Our abiding union with Jesus Christ is a very deep and profound relationship. There is nothing like it in the whole world. Who else’s god can actually live inside of them and can have such a unique relationship as to be so intertwined together?

Tanya Nemley’s interpretation of abiding: Accepting Jesus gift of salvation and attaching yourself to Jesus mentally and emotionally, never letting go of Him every day for the rest of your earthly life.

There are some people who say they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior but they didn’t remain on the vine and were lost. They said the words with their mouth but in their heart they didn’t really hook up with their connection to Jesus. They had an empty conversion. Some people never connect to Jesus the vine. Those who have truly accepted Jesus Christ stay on the vine and they are abiding and are able to produce fruit.

Abiding is an ongoing process in order to stay on spiritual course!

This is done through your daily relationship with Jesus and your constant studying and obeying God’s word. Stay in the pocket with God. Don’t run ahead of God and don’t run behind. Stick very close which is abiding with Jesus. Don’t meet Him at church…be His church, be His mouth piece and be His kingdom builder. Allow the Holy Spirit to pour into your life which will help with the abiding. Imitate Jesus and be just like Him in all that you do and say.

Abiding in Jesus starts by:

1. Accepting the true vine “Jesus Christ”.
2. Staying on the true vine “Jesus Christ”.

“Abiding in Christ is the essence of our whole Christ life.” Abiding is being so attached to the vine (Jesus) that we become a representation of who Jesus is to others and so proving to be true Christians.

There was a term from a movie that caught on around 2009 called “He’s just not that into you”. That means if you dated a man that he may not like you to much. If Jesus made a movie like that it would be called…”He’s so into you!” John 3:16 proves that. Isn’t it so cool that someone is so into you? But the ultimate abiding is that we are so into Him!

Abiding in Jesus is truly a symbiotic (a very close intermingling relationship) with God because of 3 things:

1. Jesus making this relationship possible.
2. The word of God being made real and alive in us.
3. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit living in us.

The benefits and results of abiding in Christ.

John 15:5-9 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

The benefits of abiding in Jesus Christ are enormous!

1. You will have eternal life!!!
2. You will be in God’s will.
3. You will produce a lot of fruit and be spiritually productive.
4. Your life will be blessed and you’ll have great Joy.
5. You will be spiritually strong.
6. Your life will glorify God.
7. You will be loved and be able to love others.
8. You will prove to Jesus that you are indeed His disciple.
9. You will have unspeakable joy!
10. You will be sustained and nourished by your attachment to the vine.
11. You will be obedient to the word of God and be able to keep God’s commandments
12. You will have a life that is complete in all that God has planned for you!
13. You can be connected to everyone else who is attached to the vine.
14. You will have someone who is sympathetic to our suffering because of His suffering.
15. You will be put right with God and have an instant connection with him.
16. You will have the Holy Spirit in you for your entire earthly life.
17. You will have a close friend and will never be alone.
18. You will always have hope and can face anything in your life.
19. You will have power because of His name.
20. You will have a Shepherd and protector.
21. You will be clean and Jesus can present you to God on day.                                          22. You will have peace of mind and a calmness in your spirit.

You will have peace and calmness

Jesus went to the cross so that He would have the ability to abide in me and that I also will have the ability to abide in Him. I have accepted His gift. So now that Jesus has set everything up for my spiritual success…I need to stay as close as I can with Him to be successful in Him. I said this before but it needs repeating… “Abiding in Christ is the essence of our whole Christ life.”

How do you abide in Christ?

1. I need to be in God’s presence on and off all day long. I personally do this through prayer, singing, bible study, praying, praising God, listening to sermons or teachings throughout my day, talking to family and friends about Jesus, blogging about God and thinking about God constantly.

2. Pray continually means to talk to God all the time. It says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 To pray continually.

3. Keep studying, applying and obeying to what’s written in the bible.

4. Loving other people.

I do abide in the Lord but I have to be honest and admit that there are times that I have kicked God to the curb or I have pulled away from the vine. As I have gotten older and more mature in my faith I don’t do this as much anymore. Kicking God to the curb is a harsh statement to make… but it’s what happens in our lives when we let obstacles and distractions interfere with our ongoing relationship with God. Some distractions are, busyness, illness, jobs, even ministry, and a host of other things can get our minds off of God. We can sometimes put God on the back burner too. This disconnect from God can weaken our walk with God. When we start to again abide steadily with Jesus we can get ourselves back on track.

If we don’t abide in Christ the bible says we really have nothing. This means if we are not connected to the vine and have not accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior we as unsaved humans are dried up, shriveled up and will be gathered up and put into the fire and burned. YIKES!!! Not abiding in Jesus is dangerous and spiritually and eternally life threatening.

My dad grows a garden every year. This year he tried to grow corn. He planted a lot of it and it looked like it was doing well. The stalks were green and tall but when it came time to produce corn the cobs were very small and inedible. He also had some tomatoes that fell of the vines and just rotted and were also inedible. This is a fact….anything that doesn’t cling, stay or remain on the vine will not be sustained enough to produce a crop. It will be useless and eventually destroyed. As Christian can be affected by not staying close enough to the vine. We can become weak in our faith. We will not lose our salvation because the bible promises us in His word that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:31-39)

The bottom line here is that if you’re not saved and you are not attached to the vine which is Jesus you are eternally lost. You will not get into heaven. If you are saved then you need to stay and remain close to God for your spiritual growth. Every soul born is NOT attached to the vine. Every person will have an opportunity to make the choice to be able to abide with Jesus. He did so much to make this possible. I hope this blog has opened your eyes to keeping your connection to Jesus closer now that you understand that He is truly the strength of your life. John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
A Colorado man recently was arrested for killing his pregnant wife and 2 small daughters. Everyone is shocked at this heinous crime. There’s been many shocking crimes like this one and worse.

 
Also last week 2 husbands and fathers used an airplane to take their own lives and one of these fathers crashed the plane into his wife’s house so he could kill her and his son.
The 3 men in the above stories were said by family and friends to have been very nice people who didn’t show any signs of being capable of committing a crime like this. There has been an extreme lack of value for human life these days.

 
As more and more of these unspeakable acts are occurring I’m sure people are scratching their heads and asking why?

If you are not God’s child as a result of you accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savoir then, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires.” John 8:44   This is what the bible says!

By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:10

 
The devils attributes are: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

 
So what is happening in this world right now is that less and less people are living moral lives. Christianity is not popular anymore. The bible… even amongst some Christians… is considered old school. People are watching lots of horror movies, horror video games, and participating in all types of witchcraft for entertainment. A portal from hell is opened up in a person’s life when they allow these things to be a part of their lives. If you do drugs or alcohol…this will give you less control over your ability to control your actions. Since you are not God’s child the bible says that you are the devil’s child and he will have his demons put bad suggestions in your mind and you might act on them.

 
This is what is going on in the world today. Even if you are a Christian the devil is still very busy trying to get you to slip up so you will bring shame to God. Many Christian are suffering from moral failure.

 
Let me tell you all…it’s ok to enjoy the life that God gave us. I love to have fun and good times too….but know that there is a difference in this time in earth’s history. Something is different!!! I’m personally on high alert!!! This world belongs to the devil!!!  He’s doing what he does best…promoting evil acts through humans.  He works in their minds! (His plans don’t work on people who have their mind on Jesus and are obedient to the word of God.  This submission to God cancels his butt right out!!!!!)

2 Corinthians 4:4 satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

 
All of us need to be on high alert and do these things to guard against the devil:

1. Being in prayer at the beginning of your day.

2. Having an ongoing relationship with God.

3. Repenting for any sins committed.

4. Obeying God and doing His will.

That is if you’re a Christian. If you are NOT a Christian….then I have very bad news…you are at risk for a crisis with no help or worse for the devil to influence you to do something you would never thing of doing.

If you’re not a Christian this scripture verse can save your life in more ways than one: Acts 16:31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.”

Ya’ll… this ain’t no joke!!!!! This is what we all are dealing with….Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
This is real serious!!!!
I’m a prayer intercessor (A person who prays for others on a regular bases.). Ever since I became a committed Christian in 1984 I have been interceding for souls. I’ve seen a lot of spiritual things from visions, dreams and messages in the heavenly spiritual world but I’ve also seen things from the dark side.

Before I became a committed Christian I attempted suicide a few times. My last and most serious attempt, I can tell you I heard the voice of the devil or demon telling me to kill myself. It was real. I was in a trance. I didn’t care about myself or my husband and kids at that moment in time. The devils influence was so powerful over me that I almost lost my life. Another example I experienced this time after I became a Christian… I was driving down the street in a really bad neighborhood and I heard the demons of drugs and all matters of evil roaming the street. I’ve seen a few other demonic things over the years so I know that our enemy is real and out there lurking to see who he can get to obey to follow his horrible and evil commands. I’m not trying to scare anybody. I’ve seen things and I know what the bible says about the spirit world. I feel the Holy Spirit is telling me to share these things today. God speaks I listen and share.

 
God knew all of this was going to happen to mankind and that’s why He sent His only Son!!!!

 
This is a difficult blog for me to post today. I walk around every day trying to warn people and win people to Christ. I’m 66 years old and I only have a certain number of years left. I’m gonna make every day count to encourage someone and to win as many souls as I can for the kingdom of Jesus Christ.
