A word for someone

The Lord told me to tell someone today to stop being so hard on yourself.  Leave yourself alone.  Put your life in the Lords hands and leave everything to Him.  The Holy Spirit will speak to you of His plans for your life and He will reveal His word to guide you in His ways.  Don’t look at yourself with such a critical eye.  God loves you and He’s careful in how He leads you into His truth. Stop walking over yourself and walk under the shadow of His wings.

God… Please don’t take away my good tears!! Part 2

This morning as I was in my prayer closet and having fellowship with the Lord… He spoke to me. I asked Him the question I was asking Him in my blog yesterday… about how I will worship Him in heaven and He answered me. He said that I’ll have a whole different kind of relationship with Him than I have now. I’ll be transformed and will be able to relate to Him on an incredibly higher mental, physical and spiritual level.

Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

I’ll have a glorious body…the bible says! Praise the Lord! I’ll be transformed into something very different from I am now.

God told me that because of my new state of being that everything will be 100%… everything will be perfect. He said that He can’t tell me anymore than that because it’s not for me to know now.

1 Corinthians 2:9 However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”—

Although this scripture is talking about when we are born again and the Holy Spirit take up residence in us … the secret things of God will be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit…the secret things being the message and truth about the good news of Jesus Christ and all God’s plans for us. God has prepared for us so much more and I believe that those who love Jesus will also know in their heart that there IS so much more than our minds can conceived…even our afterlife. The Holy Spirit lets us know that there is more. Jesus said He goes to prepare a place for us and the Holy Spirit reassure’s us of this. We have Hope for our eternal future even though we don’t know what will happen once we get there other than it will more than we could ever imagine.

Our relationship with God will be so incredible! We’ll see Him face to face and all of our being will be connected to Him in a most profound way. It will be on a level that we just can’t even imagine! We’ll have exposed to us all of His awesome Holiness, wisdom, knowledge, nature, and the thing that I think will be the most overwhelming for me other than His Holiness will be…..His LOVE! One other aspect about Him that will be awesome is the understanding about the trinity and seeing or experiencing them…together.

So as far as me wanting to know how I will worship Him in heaven…I’ll have to wait until I get there to know. I feel that God will have a very special relationship with all His children and we’ll all feel uniquely special to Him and will worship Him in unity because we all have the same thing in common…we’ve all be washed by the blood of the Lamb and God had command us to be in unity here on earth and we’ll be in unity in heaven too.

When we are raptured, the bible tells us that even those who died before us will be bought up to meet us in the air and we’ll all go up together. We‘ll all gleam from God everything that we’ll every need for all eternity. He is that way for us now except we are separated by our mortality and human nature…we do have the fullness of God now though. Let’s really think of our lives that way and understand how blessed we really are in our present lives.

We’ll have the ability to worship God face to face with every part of our being and we’ll be filled with His presence in us forever. God will wipe all my tears away….I’ll have no need for even my good tears. My good tears now are truly tears of sorrow. I cry now because I love God so much… but my desire for Him cannot be satisfied 100% until I’m transformed and with Him… when His whole nature can be revealed to me.

Message for today: There are NOT any good tears….so….God….I look forward to you wiping…all my tears away after all. XOXO

Ours tears will be replace by His LOVE!

God… Please don’t wipe away all my tears!! Part 1

Revelations 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Dear Father God,

I’m so glad that you’re going to wipe every tear away from my eyes one day…but I don’t want all my tears wiped away. I do want the bad tears wiped away…the ones that came from my suffering…but there are some special tears that I hope you collected and will never get rid of….they are….my tears of love for you! My God….I love you so much and in my prayer times I have cried so hard because I love you so so much.

My wonderful, merciful and caring God…these are my good tears and I don’t want you to wipe them away. Every tear of love I shed for you are from deep within my heart. My heart aches for you and each tear represents the depths of that love.

Please don’t wipe my love away. How will I be able to tell you how much I love you when I get to heaven? Will there be a way? Can I pour oil on you? Will I have hair to wash your feet with? I know you are a spirit so how will I pour my love out on you?

Luke 7:38 and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.

Please tell me how I will worship you and I will be so happy. Father God…when I get there… will there be room for me to lay before your throne in adoration of your Holiness and your love that you have shown to me. I think a lot about what I will do in your presence. I’m going to want to hug you tightly and say thank you for making me, forgiving me, saving me, loving me and accepting me warts and all. Yes these tears God…that I have on my face right now…they are for you….don’t wipe them away.

God there are no words in my mouth and in my mind right now…only my tears of love…my human expression of passion for you. My tear’s are my worship Father…don’t wipe my tears away. You’ve given me so much and my good tears are all I have to give you….they are…my love. They are symbolic of my heart’s cry of worship and praise to you.

Will I remember these times of prayer and intimate fellowship with you? They are precious to me! Will my love for you be lost in the history of your many other blood washed children? I know I’m asking so many questions…but I don’t want my good tears to be gone from my memory of you….I cherish my good tears and my good times with you.

I know when I get to heaven….you’ll be waiting for me and I’ll have a glorified body and I’ll be like you and things between you and me will be on a whole different level…..but I still have to say this while I’m still down here…..Don’t wipe my good tears away….they are my joy, my happiness and my love that I have for you! I love you!!

From your tearful daughter… good tears,

Tanya

What happens when you die?

I am going to die…you are going to die…many of our loved ones have already died….But what happened to them and what’s going to happen to us when we die?

Ok… Let me start with what happens to the non- Christians according to the”bible”. John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. These are not my ideas…but Jesus very own words. According to the bible you will go to hell. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Luke 16:23-24 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

These are the biblical facts and they are very hard to for some to comprehend when looking at these facts through mortal eyes but through the eyes of God’s children…the Holy Spirit helps us to understand the ways of our God. Christians try to share the fact that our bible says that people who do not seek heaven through Jesus Christ will go to hell and some people get very offended or upset…but our bible says what it says and that’s the truth of God’s word that we follow.

I pray that people will carefully know the facts about what they believe in because you only get one chance to make the right decision. Don’t listen to only what someone has told you…but do your own research and find truth for yourself. You came into the world alone and you will leave alone. After death you’ll be faced with the reality of the decision you made. Make sure now while you still have time. Time though is not promised to anyone.

For those who are Christians…I want to share what I know about what happens when we die. First…let’s start at our very beginning. Genesis 2:7 Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. We came from dirt and we’ll go back to being dirt. Genesis 3:19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

This is what’s going to happen to our physical bodies…they will cease all function and decay back to dust. These mortal bodies…if you are a Christian contains two very important spirits… Our own spirit/soul and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit who is in us will be there until the very last second of our living earthly existence and He will help and comfort us in those last days, hours, minutes and seconds before death. We will not be alone! We should not fear death. I have seen many Christians near death and they always seem to have such a sense of peace over them. They seem to comfort those around them too. That’s the Holy Spirit at work in them. After you die…immediately your body starts to decay… your spirit/soul leaves your body and what happens next according to the bible is…. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.” From these scriptures you see that we will be with Jesus right away. There are two scriptures that say that the angels will take you there… Luke 16:22 The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. This also happened when Lazarus died. These were special circumstances and there is nothing else saying this is the norm.

Many people have shared stories of events that happened when they were near death and their accounts are real to them. What we have to go by is what the bible says happens to us and just know this….if you’re a Christian the Holy Spirit will be with you right up to your point of death even if you’re unconscious.  You may be unconscious…but your spirit is very much alive and being ministered to by the Lord and maybe angels at this time.

My Dad had a near death experience many years ago and he said he heard the angels and music.  You know this is a very scary time for anybody who is getting ready to change from one state to another.  The thought of the Holy Spirit, angels, and Jesus being very close should be a comfort to you.  You will have so much comfort and assisitance  when you die.  You will be gently and carefully transformed into your new life.   The most comforting fact is that……you will see Jesus and He will fill your soul with so much love!!  Praise the Lord!!  You can’t even imagine how good this will be…perfect love!!!!  You will have a glorified body.  All your imperfections…gone!!!  You will see your loved ones.  You’ll see things never seen by humans before.  You’ll know the answers to all the questions you’ve ever had.  You won’t have any worries!!!  You will see God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m going to reveal to you the best part about dying…yes…you heard me right….there’s a good part about dying. Philippians 1:21-23 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far…. Paul said that departing this life is far better. Why? Because you will experience the most perfect love and peace that you have ever known. Why? Because you will be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus says this to us…. John 14 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

I tell you all today…don’t worry about your loved ones who have gone home to be with the Lord…they are enveloped in the greatest love of all. Don’t worry about dying because Jesus has prepared everything for you. Death is not a problem for us who are washed by the blood of the lamb. When I think of all that God has prepared just for me….and you:

1 Corinthians 2:9 However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”—

We have a great future planned for us. We won’t suffer any more pain, crying or tears. No more heart ache or sorrow. Let’s hold on to this glorious hope in our hearts today and run this race with thanksgiving and praise for all God has blessed us with.

Message for today:  What happens when we die?…..The greatest thing we can ever imagine…eternal life in the presence of our Lord and Savior….Jesus Christ!! Halleluiah!

God doesn’t have voicemail

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God definitely doesn’t have voicemail. When you speak to Him…you speak directly to Him and He hears your prayers right away. He doesn’t put you off when you call upon Him.

You can talk to God anytime of the day or night for any reason whatsoever! You will always have access to God and your calls will never go to voicemail because God is supernatural and can hear and answer every persons prayers at the same time.
This information about God is a lot to absorb but it’s true. Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Jesus made this possible for us because of His sacrifice and the Holy Spirit makes the connection for us.

The Lord never put us off…ever! He’s very attentive to us. Sometimes He speaks in a quiet voice or He’ll speak to us through His word and there are times He’s silent for our personal growth…but He never just ignores us or lets our cries go to voicemail. The Holy Spirit that indwells in us is our guarantee that He hears us at all times.

We are so blessed and I sometimes think we forget just how blessed these little human beings from earth who have been adopted into the family of the most powerful being in the whole universe really are. I am blessed…come on…say it with me….”I am blessed!”

I want to encourage someone out there today to know that … God has heard your prayers!!!!! God knows who you are… where you are and has stayed in constant contact with you and He ask that you keep talking to Him and trusting Him. He said to tell you that He never dismisses your calls and His silence means He heard and is working out things on your behalf. He said He’s knows what you’re going to say to Him before you speak or even think it. He said to come to Him boldly because He is your Father who loves you very much and that as His child you have the privilege of being able to speak to Him at all times for any reason.

Message for today: God hears and responds to your communication with Him. He doesn’t have….voicemail!

This is just to make you smile! Have a blessed day! Oh and remember to talk to God.

I’ve got some great news for you today!!

How is your fear of the Lord today? Do you have total reverence for the Lord your God? Are you in awe of His greatness, power and glory as well as His wrath and anger? If your answer is yes….I’ve got some great news for you!!

You will have wisdom, knowledge, life, confidence and you will lack nothing. I’m not making this up! Psalms 34:9 Fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.

When I read the word this morning and meditated on this scripture…I was like…wow! I had to reread it a few times and let it get into my spirit. This is a verse you need to hide in your heart and reflect on when you are stressed about anything in your life.

Your fear of God has you in total awe and reverence for His majesty and glory.

Fear of the Lord is that you think God is the greatest and the most powerful being in the entire universe. Fear of the Lord means that you believe that God is so holy that He cannot stand or look upon anything unjust or sinful. Your fear of God has you in total awe and reverence for His majesty and glory. Because of your fear of the Lord you respect His total authority over your life.

“When you fear God….you give God the OK to take charge over everything in your life and you trust Him to make wise decisions for you”

Fear has a negative connotation in this world we live in…but in God’s kingdom…it is a powerful word that has our blessings attached to it. Let’s embrace this word fear and put it in its proper place in our spiritual life and receive our full provisions for our lives from the Lord.

Proverbs 14:26 He who fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.

Message for today: Fear the Lord and be blessed.

Live long and prosper

Live long and prosper

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. KJV

3 John 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. NIV

As I have stated in previous blogs…I’m a SYFY/science fiction fan and a major Star Trek fan. In the series of Star Trek there was a race of people called Vulcans and one of the main characters on the show was Mr. Spock who was a Vulcan. On His planet…when departing company they would raise their hand and give a V sign with their fingers which the meant…”Live long and prosper”. I would love to do this in our world but I think people would look at me like I was crazy!

I do want people to live long and prosper.  I wish this on you who are reading this blog today!! I live with a chronic illness and I wish everyone would say this to me all day every day. It would make me feel better just to hear those words. I do think of these words to myself though. To greet someone… like in the scripture verse above and say….”my good friend I know that it is so well with your soul and I pray that your health would be good as good as your soul is!”….would be such a great greeting to hear on a regular basis.

Prosper in this biblical sense means to be well spiritually. In the secular sense it means to be well of financially. The purpose that it’s spoken of in this text is spiritually. If you are prospering spiritually…that is the greatest blessing you can have.

Mathew 6:33 But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

If you put the Lord first…everything you need…the Lord will provide so you will prosper. The important point here is that your soul needs to prosper by being in that right place with God through:

1. Obedience to God
2. Prayer and walking with God
3. Bible study and hiding the word in your heart.
 4. 1 Peter 1:16 …Be ye holy; for I am holy.
5. Pray this: Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalms 51:10

I want you to live long and prosper because the longer you live the wiser and more mature in the Lord you are and the world needs a bright light in this dark world. Your light will shine and because of the wisdom you can impart in other people’s lives.   You will be such a blessing in the kingdom of God!!

Does God want us to be in good health? Absolutely!  I want good health too but….if my soul is prospering my health won’t be an issue because my soul is mightier that my health. My well soul and right relationship with the Lord has seen me through every storm and trial in my life. I do pray for good health and I’m thankful for the health I have because things could be worse. My husband and I have made some big changes in our life styles pertaining to our health because we want to give our aging bodies a better outcome by slowing down or preventing physical problems that have and can develop with age.

As far as my soul prospering…it is! Praise the Lord ! My secret is…..I keep my eyes on the Lord!!! I focus on Jesus! I keep my mind on Him! I meditate on the scriptures and remember the Holy Spirits presence in me! I also give my time, talent and treasure to the Lord. In this way…my soul is sure to…prosper.

Message for today: Live Long and prosper in your spirit my brothers and sister in Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Easter Thoughts for 2012

I’m so thankful for this day of remembering……How much God loves me!

I’m so thankful for my salvation.

I’m eternally grateful for my souls resting place.

I’m so blessed that Jesus made the sacrifice for me.

“Happy Resurrection day to all my brothers and sisters in Christ.”

Good Friday…the day Jesus cried out to you

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

Mathew 27:45-46 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

Today is what is called by Christians…Good Friday and that’s a very blessed name to call this Holy day. This is the day that my brother…God’s only Son gave His life for you and me. Without this very special day I wouldn’t be sitting here so happy in my spirit about the hope I have in my present life and my eternal future.

When Jesus was hanging on that cross He said something that really sends chills up my spine when I hear it. He didn’t just say it…He yelled it loud and clear for all the world to hear. He said…“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” This was a prayer that Jesus prayed and He yelled it out loudly. Why did He cry this out loud? He prayed many times before and was it ever recorded that He yelled out to His Father in this way? God can read minds so Jesus didn’t even have to speak out loud.   What did He want us to know?

Jesus wanted us to know something very special…that this was a really big sacrifice that He made for us. The pain of having His Father turn His back on Him because He could not look upon the sin that Jesus bore on Himself for us… was very very heartbreaking. He was yelling from the deepest anguish from His heart. For Jesus to yell this way in the condition that He was in… must have meant that this was something very powerful that He wanted us to remember. I’m getting teary eyed just writing this.

I believe Jesus was yelling…”I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!”…to each and every one of us.

John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

At the end of all His many hours of suffering He spoke His final and very powerful words…”It is finished.” Why do you think He want us to know that? What was the “it” that He was talking about? The “it” was the…putting us right with God! Jesus started His work on earth and this was the day that His work was finished and He wanted us to know this.

Spiritually…because of His extreme Holiness… God had His back to us because of our sin…there was a separation between us and God…but Jesus took our sin on Himself and used His own shed blood…to make it so God can look upon us in a different light…accept us into His family…be our friend and be our God. The original sin was removed from our lives when we repented and believed in His Son.  Jesus turned God’s shoulders around so that He could look upon us and pull us to His bosom and hug us and say…my child!

All of this was possible because of Jesus and this is why Good Friday is sooooo good.

As you reflect in your own personal way this day…I hope Jesus sacrifice of love will be remembered in your hearts and minds today and…everyday.

Message for today: Good Friday is Great Friday! Thank you so much Jesus!…Thank you so very much!

Jesus motives behind…The Last Supper

Luke 22:15 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

There are certain things that Jesus said during His time here on earth that touches me because it reveals His personality and His heart and this is one of those things. He was eager to eat the Passover supper with His 12 disciples. This was a very special time that happened a few days before He was to be crucified. The question in my mind is…Why was Jesus so eager to have supper with them all?

Jesus was a Jewish man and celebrated the Passover just like any other Jewish man would have done and He wanted to have this meal with the men who had given up everything to follow Him. This would be the last time that He would be with them on this level because after the crucifixion He would be in a glorified state and their relationship would be a little different.

He was about to suffer as He mentioned in the above scripture and I think He wanted for them put their attention on Him. We don’t know all that went on behind the scenes and all that was said…but I bet Jesus hugged them and spoke encouraging words to them. He loved them and they seemed to have a very tight bond. I believe this was a very special dinner…one that may have been more special than the disciples had known at the time.

Another thought I had on this special meal was that this would be known as…”The Last Supper”. Painters have painted pictures, and people have written books and plays about this spiritually historical event. The most important meaning of this supper was….we…you and I who are Christians are to remember this event and repeat it often in memory of the Sacrificial act of love that Jesus allowed on Himself to save us from eternal damnation and put us right with the one true and Holy God… Yahweh.

At this supper Jesus would reveal His betrayer…He put everything out on the table. It reminds me of a scripture verse from Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. We have enemies all around us…but when you sit at the Lord’s Table you can expect His presence, love and protection.

Jesus was looking forward to this dinner and in retrospect you can see why. Let’s you and I remember the command that Jesus gave us pertaining to this supper. Let’s remember all that was done for us on Calvary. Let’s remember the Love that God has for us…and that He arranged all of this for us. We are all very special to God. Let’s walk in this love and….remember “The Last Supper”…Often.

Massage for today: The Last Supper is a day to remember….forever.

Jesus love us so much….Let’s remember the price He paid.
