A Message From The Lord To All

Isaiah 43: 18-21
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.

God speaks I listen and share with everyone. As I always say…pray about anything you here or read including this blog and message for today.

The scripture above is only to point out what God has said in the past and I feel it’s saying what I feel today.

Much has and is going on in this world and in our lives and I feel the Lord is speaking to us.. I believe God wants us to not dwell…meditate…ponder on the very negative things and or scary things of the past. What good can this produce in our lives? What’s done is done and the only things that can be gleaned is lessons learned and shared only to encourage someone on the victory praise in how we got over our difficulties. The past has its place.

I believe the Lord …is…doing a new thing. I believe this is a season and a time for a fresh anointing of the power of God. It’s a time to empty ourselves out and let God refresh us so that He can bring us up to speed with the new things He is doing.

God is doing a lot of shaking and uncovering on this earth. Strange things are happening….records are being broken…the climate has changed…people are doing things out of the norm. Nobody is escaping the uncovering. People are being exposed and brought down. Rules and laws are being changed.

We are all getting to a point of having to depend on God for everything. We were doing this before…but this has and will be taken to a whole new level. We will have to be very secure in the knowledge of what the word of God says for our provisions and protection.

The new thing is what God will reveal to you and I personally about what we will be doing for Him and the power that’s available for us through His holy Spirit. A new level of faith in God and in His abilities…. A new level of trusting God no matter what…..A new level of manifestations of the power of God that will be used in our everyday lives to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ.

For many these are wilderness times. Loss of lives….loss of health….loss of jobs…loss of homes…loss of financial stability.
I tell you that there are streams of refreshing water in the wastelands of people’s lives. There is refreshing water for all those who have lost so much through the storms of life.

Those who are seasoned will help the weary… those who are salty…will affect others…those who have oil in their lamps now…will share some with others while there is still time…those who walk in the light…will lead others to the light…the light of Jesus Christ.

What is the new thing? God will wake up areas in you that you didn’t even know you had. The new orders from the Lord will be new to you because you have not done these things before. Many will go out on a limb for the Lord. Many will step out in faith. Many of these things are already occurring. God is working right now! The power of the Holy Spirit is in effect in the lives of all who have heard the call and is submitting and committing themselves to the work of the Lord.
You all have been being tested and prepared for this new thing. It has been uncomfortable and the Lord knows that and has sent the comforter to minister to you. For some of you there has been much loss. Do not lean on your understanding of things…but trust the Lord. Again do not dwell on the past.

This is a season to be praying for boldness.

Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Repent if you need to…be clean, sanctified, washed.

Be studied/worded up….Know what the word of God says. Have your sword ready.

Be prayed up always…at all times…24/7

Be holy….God is Holy

Stand on truth

Spread the Good news

Put God first

Be fearless in your pursuit of the cause of the kingdom

Humble yourself always

Give God all the Glory praise and honor…bless the Lord at all times and continually do this

Are you ready for the new thing? Have you been going through a lot of trials the past few years? Then you are probably one of the ones that are ready. God tries us… fries us…restores us… and then uses us. He knows He can trust us because we have remained faithful and steadfast. You have kept the faith! There is a lot of work for us to do. People have been watching us…looking to see how we handled our crisis and troubles. You have been a blessing to the Lord and He has seen your courage. He saw how you waited on Him. God has seen your heart and He smiled.

Jesus will continue to keep you in perfect peace. The river of life is flowing. Enjoy the refreshing water that the Lord allows all who follow Him to drink from. Enjoy the rest He has given to all who are heavy laden.

There will be rewards for all who have been faithful to the Lord. God bless all the faithful servants of the Lord. May He keep you in His loving care!

For those reading this and you are not a Christian…I can tell and I know you can tell that there are unusual things going on this earth. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Be sure you know where your soul will go after you die. Be sure you have your facts straight about the God you believe in or if you believe in anything at all. You don’t get another chance after you die. Now is the time to double-check and seek the truth. I believe in Jesus Christ. Write me in the sidebar if you want more info.

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

From God’s lips to our Ears

God's Lips Speaks to Us Through HIs Word

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Revelation 1:16 …… coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword.

No word… no help!

No word… no knowledge!

No word…no understanding the things of God!

No word…no power over the enemy!

God’s word don’t play…it’s no joke….it can bring you down….it can lift you up and bless you.

Does God speak to us?

Yes…God does speak to us through His word.

Does God have a mouth or lips?

Isaiah 1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

It says in the above scripture that God has a mouth…but this is used figuratively to express His thoughts.

Whether or not God has actual lips I don’t know….but I do know that He does speak and what He says to us through His word does affect our lives in a tremendous way.
God has spoken over our lives and He has said many good things over us. I have received His words and have been so blessed more than words can say because of reading the good news.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

So from God’s lips to our ears….what I am saying is….from God’s word to our lives we are blessed. We are blessed when we apply God’s word in our daily lives. We are equipped for anything that affects our life. It was because of hearing the word that I even came to faith in Jesus Christ…I’m so blessed!

This message is for someone reading this blog today….You have been going through a lot…not just your recent problems…but for most of your life. Let go of all your past troubles and those memories of them.

I’m seeing a vision right now:

You have let go of painful things.  I see a vision of you clinging to your bible…hugging it and then raising it over your head. You are praising God because you have read scriptures in His word and they have spoken to you. I hear you saying something…..you are saying…”I applied it…I applied it to my life” You are so full of hope and faith.

You are now sitting in a chair and you are crying because of something special you received in reading the word. You are crying tears of joy because God spoke to you clearly and you are feeling His love for you. From God’s lips to your ears and straight to your heart…He loves you so….you ARE blessed!

Mathew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God”.

Message for today: From God’s lips to our ears=blessings!

I’m Covered With Blood… But I’m Safe

The Rose of Sharon Shed His Blood For Me and You

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

It’s not even close to Easter and I’m thinking about the blood of Jesus.

I am covered with blood…Jesus blood… and I’m safe in His arms forever…because of this blood! Thank you Jesus!

We have communion in our church once a month to remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us but there is so much more in reflecting on the blood of Jesus Christ.

It’s said that the word blood appears in the bible occurs 447 times in 375 verses in the KJV.

Understanding about the blood of Jesus goes all the way back to trying to understanding who God is. God required a sacrifice after Adam and Eve committed the first sin. An animal was sacrificed by God for them. ( Genesis 3:21) This is what God required…it’s His way….it is because of who He is. Understanding God is how you will understand…why the sacrifice of blood was required. This will require some bible study on your part…but you will gain so much from this understanding and knowledge.

In the Old Testament… Blood had to be shed by the sacrificing of an animal. Blood was also symbolically shed…. like when God told the Children of Israel to place/sprinkle it on the door frame when God sent the plague to the Egyptians and this blood saved all the baby boys of the children of Israel. The blood saves!

Exodus 12:22 Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. Not one of you shall go out the door of his house until morning.

Jesus sacrificed Himself

In the New Testament Jesus actually shed His own blood for us when He was beaten, killed and hung on the cross for our salvation. The blood saves!

This was an enormous amount of blood because it has covered all the sins of mankind and will wipe away original sin from all who ask for forgiveness. This is blood that has been shed by Jesus so people can be  justified over countless generations.

When I think of how the blood of Jesus Christ has affected me personally I feel so overwhelmed with joy and thanksgiving…that God came to earth in the form of a man….God’s only Son….let Himself be killed for me! Who would do that? Who would love me that much?

What are the benefits of that shed blood for me?

That precious blood put me right with the God of the whole universe!

That precious blood has given me eternal life!

That precious blood has given me power over the enemy!… How good is that?

That precious blood forgives me of my sins! My sins (when asked to be forgiven) don’t cling to me they are washed away and forgotten because of that blood! It cleans me…It washes me!

That precious blood keeps me hopeful and happy everyday!

That precious blood lets me know that I’m loved.

I want to be covered…soaked in that blood. I never ever want to forget the meaning of that blood or the depths that Jesus went through to shed that blood for me.

You know this world has a fixation with blood right now. There are so many movies and TV shows about vampires and drinking blood. If only people would focus on the only true blood that can really change a person’s life….for the better. You don’t have to drink it…only be washed by it.

I’ve been washed by the blood….I’ve been changed into a new creation….I will live in eternal awesome greatness with the creator of all things…….Because of what?……….The BLOOD!!!

Message for today: Are you excited about what the blood of Jesus has done for you? If you are… comment a… “Amen”… shout out. God bless you……oh He has!!

What Should We be Thankful For and Why

Thank you!....Lord

1 Thessalonians 5:18  in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The Lord says to tell you that when you are thankful to Him, it is showing Him that you are trusting in His abilities to take care of you.

It makes Him have pleasure in blessing you. He wants to bless you so much. Be thankful everyday and watch God draw close to you and bestow His good pleasures on you.

Thank God everyday for:

1. His Love
2. His Son…Jesus
3. Everything you have in your life…food clothing shelter, health, family, grace and protection.
4. His Holy Spirit
5. Eternal life

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

The fruits of trusting in God is a grateful heart of thankfulness.

Message for today: Being thankful is more than Thanksgiving Day….it’s a part of our daily lives.  Trust God and then thank God for all blessing that were afforded you.

A Prayer For Thanksgiving

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Good day everyone. I want to share with you a poem I wrote on November 22, 2007. I’m not a poet and had never written a poem before….but this day… I was so grateful to have survived cancer and I was feeling very thankful for life when I wrote this.

I cooked thanksgiving dinner and invited my family over. Before we ate our dinner…we prayed together like we always do…but afterwards I read this poem. It was very emotional for me and you know it…I cried and so did my family…..but they were tears of great thankfulness and joy. I pray my poem blesses you too.

A lot to Be Thankful For

I’m so thankful for Jesus all that he’s done for me
How He’s prepared a place in heaven, where I will spend eternity
He daily strengthens my mind, my body, and my soul
I would have fainted long ago, the truth be told

I’m thankful for my husband, my children, family and friends
I pray for grace, and mercy to be with them without end
I’m thankful for food, shelter, clothing and even a car
We’ve had several car accidents without even a scratch or a scar

There is one thing though, that I’m the most thankful for
A tremendous blessing that I just can’t ignore
God sent His only Son, to sacrifice His life for me
And without His gift of love, my soul would not be free

I’m also very thankful; God didn’t want me to be alone
He sent me the Holy Spirit, because I am His very own
Holy Spirit comforts and guides, He reveals your plans to me
Without His gentle leadings, I don’t know where I’d be

I ‘m really thankful for God blessing my life
and that, all is well with my soul
I want to share this good news with others
and that truly is my earthly goal

Message for today: Thank you Lord for all you’ve done for me!

PS……

I’m also very grateful for all my blog friends who follow my blogs.  I have so much joy getting up in the morning to write my blog.  Suffering with a chronic illness has been difficult….but since I’ve been blogging I feel a fresh anointing in my life.  If there was nobody reading my blogs I may have stopped writing them by now…I’m feel spurred on to keep writing from connecting with all of you.  So I want to take this time to say thank you for making this one of the most fulfilling times in my life.

XOXO,

Discernment?… Is it Necessary?

Philippians 1:9-10 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Discernment….whoa!…This is big and complicated word and you all know I’m not a complicated person…so I will have to try to break this down in my own way.

My little granddaughter is 2 years old and I tell you that little girl has this gift. She studies faces and a person’s actions to the point I think she can see right through you. If she perceives you to be a little off beat… she will give you a look and she may address you or not.

When my children were little I felt they were much friendlier to adults who I knew were really nice than people who were a little off balanced or less kid friendly. I think we all have some basic skills of discernment as humans such as knowing the difference between good and evil….but…I believe there is much more to discernment when you add maturity from the knowledge and experiences from your life.

For a Christian discernment is what we need to have if we want to be able to know what God would have us know and understand about spiritual situations. This is for our protection against things that are not his will or direction for our lives and the lives of others.

Discernment is a strong sense and awareness about a situation that you can’t see straight out but you know that something is just not right. Maybe the Holy Spirit (who is living inside of you if you’re a born again Christian) is connecting with your spirit and is letting you know that the situation is unstable or out of God’s approval or will.

When you have an ongoing close relationship with the Lord through prayer and the study of God’s word…discernment will be a natural enhancement of your spiritual growth that is a gift from God for you protection and also to bless others from your maturity and guidance.

I use my spiritual discernment a lot. When I’m in church I am there to worship the Lord but….I’m very aware of those around me and I can discern when a person is going through something and I will reach out to that person after the service or go up to the altar if they go and pray with them. I also use this discernment with complete strangers, friends or family. It’s part of my ministry of being a prayer intercessor.

I also discern things when people tell me spiritual things and when I’m listening to any sermon, speech, talk, seminar or anything that could affect my life. Anything that can enter your mind or anything that you see with your eyes should be discerned. A Christian’s body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and we should be careful of who or what enters our temple. We should be on special alert for our children too.

To recap…..Be spiritually aware….discerning about the things that concern you spiritually. Know what you are dealing with. Knowing what discernment is…is scriptural as you can tell from the scriptures at the beginning of this blog and there are many other references in God word as you will  find in doing your own bible study.

Discernment should not be used in a judgmental attitude about others… but use it as a guide to let you know what the Lord may be leading you to know about a person or situation that is either beneficial or a detriment to you or someone else. Discernment is getting an understanding about a situation that isn’t apparent to you. Don’t be afraid of discernment but use it and use it wisely.

Jesus had great discernment when He was here on earth and He used this gift as a guide for himself and to bless others…let’s do the same.

Message for today: Keep your eyes open, your mouth closed and discern what’s going on….pray….then act if necessary. Discernment is a good thing…Thank you God for thinking of everything we need.

Does Jesus Have Tattoos?

Jesus has real scars

Well no… He doesn’t…just wanted to catch your attention to read my blog….but He does have marks on His body and they are called scars. I have many scars on my body from injuries and surgeries…but that’s not how Jesus got His.

1 Peter 2:4 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

Here the scriptures says that Jesus had wounds…..some of these wounds were:

John 20:20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

He  not only has wounds in His hands and side….but when you think of the brutality of His beatings and torture…. He had to have had scars from the crown of thorns being pushed down on His head and from being battering about His head and face.
He was whipped and the kind of whippings they did in those days was very brutal…so He had to have had very deep scars from this kind of torture.

His feet were nailed to the cross. (Luke 24:40) so there were scars there.

Scars from whippings never go away.

Yes Jesus had lots of marks and in the book of Revelations these marks and scars will not be forgotten. Why are Jesus, marks, wounds and scars so important to us humans? ……..They were necessary for our salvation!!!!! Which is being saved!!….Saved from a life of separation from a Holy God…Saved from an eternity in hell… Saved from God’s wrath because of our original sin. Jesus did this for me…Jesus did this for you and He did this for anybody who would believe in Him and repent of their sins and follow Him. This is a free gift given to us by God by faith.

Dear Jesus,

The first time I heard about you was in my Sunday school class. We sang songs about you. As I got older I learned about you dying just for me on a cross. I was always very sad when our church observed Good Friday. When I got older and learned the reason for good Friday… I was very glad for the sacrifice you made for me.

Over the years I have grown to love you more and more as the security in knowing I’m going to heaven became more real to me. I’m also glad about the cross because I can worship and talk to God on an intimate one on one level and because of the Holy Spirit you promised will come….I can worship God in spirit and in truth. Because of your sacrifice…I’m no longer an enemy of God….in fact I’m His friend. Jesus….you have done so much for me and I dedicate my whole life to you.

Jesus If you were here on earth I would buy you a Louis Vuitton man purse, a Rolls Royce, a mansion, a yacht( I know you like to fish), a private plane, a Gucci Suit and a diamond ring…if I had the money. But knowing you the way I do….you would just tell me to give my money away  and just follow you. So Jesus…that’s what I’m doing. Not the money thing ( I don’t have million or close to it.) but following you.  Jesus….I want to be just like you. Oh….I so looking forward to that mansion you’ve prepared for me. I know you’ve also prepared a table for me which I hope has all my favorite foods. If not… I know I’ll be satisfied just being with you and our Father.

Jesus….did I tell you how much I love you? I know….I say it a lot. That’s because I know how much you love me….you’ve got the scars to prove it. Thank you so much Jesus.

See you soon,

Tanya

Message for today: No Jesus does not have tattoos….but bares the scars of love and eternal life for all who believe in Him.

Jesus scars paid a price for us. Thank you Jesus!
