Jesus the Real Superman

Jesus Walks on the Water

Mathew 14:22-26 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into
the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the
crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside
by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the
boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves
because the wind was against it.

Jesus walking on the water

25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on
the lake.
26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake,
they were terrified.

“It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

Yes… Jesus was a superman to me…the real superman…a powerful superman. I said… was… because I’m talking about when He was in His human form here on earth.

There’s not a lot in the bible about Jesus doing things personally to show His supernatural abilities. Yes… He did many miracles for others but not special things pertaining to himself.
Why did Jesus walk on the water up to those poor unsuspecting disciples that day? Did He want to scare the mess out of them for a good laugh?…Did He want to show off His cool Jesus skills?…Did He want to wash His feet off in the lake? Was He trying to start a new fad? After all Peter tried to copy Him without much success. The answer is no…He was about to make a point and teach a good lesson for us all to learn for hundreds of years to come.

You see I would have NEVER gotten out of the boat like Peter did…I would have hidden in the lower galley and use my cell phone to call 911 or start rowing fast in the other direction. I don’t get it…they are all standing there saying it’s a ghost and screaming…and Peter gets out of the boat and ask… is it you Jesus?  Run… Get out of there!! Man the oars and let’s roll! That’s just me…Let me get back on my subject.

John 20:19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

Another bible story told of Jesus appearing in a room with the doors locked. How did Jesus get into the room with all the doors locked?…..No…Scotty from Stat Trek did not beam Him in the room….Super Jesus did it Himself…..the doors were locked…so….this proves my point of Jesus having super abilities.

Are you impressed yet? I am and my point is that Jesus was man but He was not normal…..He had supernatural abilities…that was given Him by the Father…. to teach lessons and to bring God glory.

Jesus could have done some wild things with His supernatural abilities…but He was without sin and wanted to bring glory to His father. If that was us…we would have gotten carried away eventually with that kind of super power.
Jesus didn’t use His superpowers to save Himself from the cross…He surely could have. If He had this kind of super power then…what kind of and how much super power does He have now? He has all power!! His next big demonstration of this superpower is when He comes back toward earth….He doesn’t touch ground but will be in the air over earth and He will get us who repented of our sins and believed in Him.

Message for today: Jesus is the real deal….He once was a superman and now He is an all powerful God. One day you will see His superpower up front and personal whether you are a Christian or not.

Do You Need More Faith? Read This!!!!

Mathew 13:58 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

In this scripture above Jesus was in His own hometown preaching and doing miracles. His own townsmen and family really didn’t believe in what He was doing and saying. Jesus could have told them off…..But he was really cool about it. I think He might have thought this….”well I’m not going to perform any miracles here except for a few people who I know really wanted to be healed and  believed that I could heal them…..I’m not pleased with the other folks lack of faith…it doesn’t pleases me or my Father…..too bad I wanted to do so much for them…..but I cannot deal with their LACK OF FAITH!” Yes this is my interpretation….but knowing Jesus the way I do….I know He doesn’t like it when we don’t believe in Him and His Father’s ability to take care of us and we will be hard pressed to get any of our prayers answered that way.
I have so many personal stories of faith and my two best examples involve my two sons. I will tell my son Joshua’s story today.

I had 3 daughters who were 4, 7 and 10. I never wanted any boys and was very happy with my 3 daughters until….I became a committed Christian. I don’t know what happened to me….I think this happened to me because I was reading about the people in the bible…. it seemed important to have sons….so I tried to get pregnant again but after 3 ½ years nothing was happening. So I started praying and praying. I got to the point of literally begging God everyday in prayer. I told Him that He had a Son and I wanted one too. The doctor told me I needed a hysterectomy so He scheduled it…but before I could go ahead with it…. one of my daughters needed to get her tonsils out. About two months later I wasn’t feeling well so I went back to this doctor to reschedule the hysterectomy and after the exam the doctor informed me I was pregnant. I asked him what happened and He said….you tell me! I knew it was a miracle and that it was my son that I asked God for.

God told me to name Him Joshua and for the next 7 months I told everybody I was having a boy named Joshua. My mom and mother in law thought I had lost my mind. I was admitted in the Hospital for the last weeks of the pregnancy and all the doctors, nurses, lab techs…everybody knew about Joshua. They even sent a social worker to talk to me because I was so adamant about having a boy. When I was in the delivery room and he was born… the staff was all yelling “Joshua is here” and they were cheering…even though he was only 3 lbs.  You see… there were no sonograms back then! I had faith!!!….I believed what God spoke to me!!….I had faith that God could and would do it!! I never doubted… not for one minute!!

This is the kind of faith that God wants us to have every day. Do I?……No….I’m just being honest here…there are times that my faith gets low…tiny…weak….but that’s my fault.

My faith gets weak when:

1. I stress about a situation.
2. I think the problem is really big and seems impossible…this is called…DOUBT.
3. I’m sick or very tired and drained.
4. I haven’t been in the word enough I haven’t been keeping my eyes on the Lord.
5. I think I have figured out the answer myself…this is lack of TRUST.
6. I pray out of God’s will.
7. I take my eyes off the Lord and focus on the situation.
8. I let people convince me what to do.
9. I pray and pray….God answers me but I keep praying thinking it’s not exactly what I asked for.
10. I may have unforgiveness in my heart.
11. I may have an unconfessed sin.
12. I’m too busy doing a million things and preoccupied with life’s daily challenges.
13. Neglect my prayer life

Faith knowing your father will be there to catch you!

In our Christian walk with God we need faith like we need air to breathe. God is not moved to answer our prayers because we hope He can do it…but if we know and trust He can do it.
When my kids were little…they didn’t run up to me and say they hoped I could buy the ice cream off that truck….they were ALWAYS CONFIDENT that I could and would buy them that ice cream. They Knew I had money…they knew I could do it if I wanted to and their confidence in me got them that ice cream most of the time.
Are you confident today in God’s ability to answer you when you call to Him? If not… I have the perfect answer for you today….you can take this answer to the bank and cash it:

Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Faith grows as you read and know Gods word

When you know what God says through His word…when you hear Gods word, when His word gets into your mind, heart and spirit…it is ALIVE in you because of the power of the Holy Spirit…this builds faith in you!

The bible is not a book with black and white pages of writings that you read and that’s it….It is alive….living…active…life changing….faith increasing!! There is one catch….if you don’t know what it says….your faith will be lower and life will be more challenging for you.

When Jesus was tempted by the devil…He used scripture to deal with him. Why did God put this true story in the bible…yup…you guessed it…so we can follow what Jesus did when faced with the devils taunts.

Message for today: Know scripture… know help…No scripture…satan’s gonna kick your butt! ( Hate to put it that way….but….somebody needs to hear this today.
Please…get a good bible and a highlighter….mark that bible up with scriptures that have helped you out of situations, share these with others….become a scripture master and see how your faith will soar. The devil will be scared of you!!!

What about Jesus? Oprah’s Statement Part 2

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I have already written about Oprah’s statement…but….I just have a little more to say about Jesus and will probably have a part 3 one day soon.

So much talk about Jesus Christ……people call out His name every second of every day. Some say His name with adoration and praise….and some use His name when they are shocked or upset about something. Some people have cursed Him ever since He was known to arrive on this planet earth and some have adored Him since they heard He came.
Just hearing His name makes some people really angry……His name makes some people argue.

When Jesus was here on earth people talked about Him behind His back…..and in front of His face. He took a lot of abuse from people…..He let people curse Him, slap Him, beat Him, whip Him, spit on Him and He let people kill Him.
In all of this horribleness….He let it happen.…I’m sure it was very painful for Him….but it was not the worse pain. I believe the very worse pain was when His Father God had to turn from Him because He could not look upon the evil…the sin that Jesus…. His only Son took on for all of humanity so that we can be forgiven of our sin and we can be reconciled with God the Father. Jesus sacrifice was a ransom that was paid for my eternal soul and I’m so thankful to Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”

Now that I am a Christian and a child of the God of the universe…..I could not bear it If I was separated from God for one second…so Jesus being the supernatural being that He is…must have really suffered from being separated from God and feeling all of our ugly, nasty, disgusting, horrible, gross sin all bearing down on Him.

Why?…Why?…Why? Would He do this? Why would He want to unite us with God forever? It’s simple….Because of the Love of the Father….the Love that God has for all of us. Jesus did this for Love and His obedience to Father God paid it all for us! Jesus Christ is the way….the only way to God forever. I didn’t make this up…it’s not my story…it’s in the bible and I’m sharing these facts through my blog. This information is in the Holy Bible. When people say that there are other ways to heaven….well they can believe what they want to…that is their right….but for me…..I chose to go through my acceptance and belief in Jesus Christ and my repentance of my sins.

The God of the universe has His way of doing things and it’s not for me to question the way He set this up…to be with Him forever. It’s not for me to question…why would a good god send people to hell? People make their own choices. Mostly everyone has heard the name Jesus and the story about Him. Some say many things about who He really is. We all individually have to make a choice about what we will believe about Him….now….because one day…after we are gone from this world…it will be too late to wonder if we made the right choice….did we really research all the facts for ourselves and make the right decision?

What if you’re wrong?

I was on a journey in my life to find truth…..I looked everywhere…..I was a seeker….seeking the truth about my life…..I was going to take my own life at 12 years old and at 30….what was my purpose?….What was the real truth?……Is God real?…..Is the story of Jesus true?…….So many religions…which one?….I needed answers….I needed truth!!! My husband was Catholic and I was Lutheran….I needed something…a church…a temple…a cathedral?……I was DYING to know, spiritually dying…empty, hopeless, suicidal, facing a brick wall….calling out in the darkness for a light….and then an answer came…..it was so amazing!!! I wanted to know truth and truth was revealed to me by the power of the Holy spirit who drew my husband and I to the Full Gospel Christian Church in Copiague, NY where we met up with Jesus Christ who led the leaders there to teach us about the truth of Jesus Christ and the bible…..we held on to the bible…read it…the Holy Spirit made it come alive in our minds and the truth was revealed to us and we were changed. We were 2 new people and everyone that knew us saw this amazing change.

This began a flood of God revealing Himself to us in supernatural ways because our eyes were now open to the truth.
This is an account of my personal experience and although I would like everyone in the world to follow my beliefs….I also understand that everyone has the right to believe in what they want to believe in or…. not to believe in….I respect your space.

Message for today: Life is short…the average Life expectancy is 77.6 years and that’s if you are blessed with a full life. We can die at ANY time. Have you made the right choice for your eternal life? Are you sure?…. Have you carefully checked out all options?…. Have you made the right choice?……You do not get a second chance. If you are not sure….be a seeker like me……look for truth…..seek God for answers….you will find it…I did. This is very serious…your eternal life depends on your decision. Please really think about this TODAY.

There is only one way to God and to understand this…You must understand who God really is.  Please keep seeking for answers.  Your very life depends on it.

Can crying be good? Tears in a Bottle

Crying Tears

Psalms 56:8 You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?

Revelations 21:4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

These are good Tears….Tears of Joy

Tears can appear on our face from good emotions such as laughing, joy and extreme happiness. They can also appear from being upset, mad, angry, hurt, and from pain. Throughout history people have collected tears as a custom.

(Lachrymatory-small vessels that holds tears) They still sell tear bottles:

http://www.tearcatcher.com/tearbottle.html

I personally have cried many many tears. Yesterday I cried in our church service with my son’s girlfriend. It was a very special moment. We were singing during the praise and worship and I was so moved by the song. We were singing about loving Jesus and you all know how much I love the Lord and the tears of joy and love just came out of my eyes….then I noticed she was crying too….so I said to her.…isn’t God good? Those were such good tears and it felt good.

My mom went home to be with the Lord February 2011 and I tell you….there were many tears that fell from my eyes that week and many after. They were tears that reflected a lot of heartache.

Tears come from the emotions of the heart in real time….what’s happening in your mind at that very moment. Tears are good and they are necessary. I believe without them we would implode if you are the type to hold everything in and explode releasing anger if you are the type to unleash your emotions in this manner.

Crying out ones emotions is a good thing to do. Be careful where you do it though….if you are in an airplane or at work and you break out in a loud cry….folks will think you are out of your mind! If you do it at a funeral…well….it’s expected. I like to cry alone…but my husband has seen a great deal of my crying….and he’s a man of great compassion….he better be…or he’d been in the dog house LOL….just kidding…he is a good man!

Now what does God think about our crying? He’s very compassionate and caring and God with His God ways ( the Holy Spirit administers the grace and mercy of God) comforts us like no other.

Don’t try to fake God out with your much crying because He sees the heart and knows if you are really at your real place of I can’t take it anymore pain.

God is such a caring Father that not one of your tears/ prayers have ever gone unnoticed by Him…in fact He knows about every one of your tears…the reason you cried in the first place…. and they are in His book. Many people in the bible have cried out to Him…even His own Son Jesus. I’m sure Jesus tears that He cried for us at Gethsemane are in a bottle in a special place in heaven and Jesus did weep..…He was human…so He knows all about our tears.

God promises to wipe every tear from our eyes! What a tender act for our God to do one day for us. There will never be a reason for a single tear to ever fall from our eyes again.

My mom had a disorder called Sjogren’s syndrome which causes very dry eyes…she could not cry. She had no way to express her pain emotionally. She would always say….I wish I could cry!! Good or bad she wanted to cry…but sadly…could not.

Message for today: Cry….Cry if you need to….go ahead….get it out…the bad…the good. God made us this way for a reason. Our bodies were created to handle a full life. Your heart will beat about 3 billion times and we will shed about 31 gallons of tears in our life time. Amazing!

September 11, 2011 A Day of Reflection

I knew that I wanted to write something for today…..but what?…..what could I possibly say?….Could my words help or add to anything? Honestly I don’t think so …….but I do want to say something.

That day is a permanent part of our history in the United States of America and there is not one American who will ever forget what happened to so many innocent people.

What are people thinking after 10 years? Looking at the news this week and hearing the stories again I must say for me it still hurts and I can’t believe that it happen 10 years ago. Not only do I still feel the hurt but I have to deal with the terrorist who caused this pain. I am still working on forgiving and praying for them because they are still an everyday threat.

Many people are still angry and questioning God ……still asking why? I can only think of the bible story of Job:
His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!”
10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”
In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. Job 2:9-10

Job had so much loss in his life….his 10 children…his home….servants…..cattle….and livelihood. What tragedy what pain to go through?
Why all this suffering? Why would God allow 9/11, the Oklahoma bombing, hurricane Katrina, the space shuttle explosion, the tsunami, Martin Luther King’s death, John and Robert Kennedy death, your moms, your dads, your husband, sister, brother, Childs death?
The answer is……..there is no answer that we in this mortal form can understand. We cannot understand the mind of God.

1 Corinthians 2:16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?”

1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

We can reflect on:

1. The wonderful memories of those who were loss.
2. The grace strength of God that has been given to those living with the loss of a loved one and those first responders who are ill as a result of that day.
3. The unity and strength that is renewed in our country.
4. Our brave military still fighting for our freedom.
5. The faith, Love, and charity that was showered down on all who suffered because of that day. People gave their time, talent and money.

Of all the things we have been through as a country we with the strength of the Lord have come through it all. History proves my point. We have survived and we will survive! God bless American….land that I love!!!!

Message for today: We will never forget 9/11 and we will never forget God’s grace, peace and strength.  God  has given so many people this wonderful thing called grace to get through this horrific act of terrorism. The Lord will keep us in that peace as long as we keep our eyes on Him. We need to continue to pray for each other and for the safety of our country. We also will remember to pray always for our USA military that fight for our protection and freedom. My prayer is…. God bless America and will continue to be so…. always. Be encouraged today….reflect, pray and keep all you hope in the Lord.

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.

Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Gossiping is Bad… How NOT to do it

Proverbs 11:13 A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.

1 Timothy 5:13 Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to.

I’m not going to lie…there was a time that I gossiped and listen to gossip a lot. I’m not proud of that fact but it’s the truth. Even when I became a committed Christian I still did it and listened to it. But at this point in my life…. and having been living a Christian life now for 27 years…. I have gotten much better. (Thank God…right?) I have to stay on top of it because the temptation is always there.

The reason I am doing better with this these days is because I abide in the Lord and He in me. Also I walk in the Spirit. (This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16) This is what happens to me now when I’m faced with the temptation to gossip. My mind thinks the thought I’m about to say. I can hear my thoughts before I speak them and the Holy Spirit taps me on the shoulder and says “don’t say that”. And if someone starts to tell me something about someone else…I stop them and say I don’t what to hear that.

I do my best to be 100% at this. I have to be very discerning because I’m a prayer intercessor and there are times I have to listen to a person tell me their problem or someone else’s problem because they are asking for prayer. If you are a blabber mouth…nobody would ever ask you to pray for them.

Many years ago a person spread some awful things about me in my church. One of my friends overheard her telling lies to a group of ladies. I was so hurt and angry. So I did what then?….you guessed it….went straight to the pastor ( poor pastors…they get this stuff all the time). He was so nice and very wise. He told me not to confront her….he knew her and knew she was not the nicest person so confronting her would be like backing a squirrel into a corner…so his advice was to leave the situation alone. He said her personality would expose her and he was right. A few months later she cursed out someone in church in front of everybody.

Gossip is very destructive…. to the person who is being spoken about and the person doing the gossiping.

Message for today: When gossip comes your way….. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

A Prayer Request For Answers and Healing

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

First let me say that I believe this is my year for manifested healing for a medical condition I have suffered with.

I can remember being very tired as a child, having some sort of learning disability and a variety of aches and pains. Fatigue grew worse as I got older and I had great difficulty keeping a job because of this. I managed to get married and have a family but it was very difficult managing housework and the kids. I adapted and concentrated on raising my 6 children. Looking back I can see the grace of God all over me….oh how the Lord helped me to take care of my kids and home.

Then my health took some turns that were much harder to adjust to. In 1991 I was sitting with my kids watching TV when I was struck with a sudden bout of severe weakness. It almost felt like I was having a stroke. My family call 911 and I went to the ER. By the time I got there I was feeling better so they sent me home with a diagnosis of allergy reaction.

This was the beginning of many years of these unexplainable episodes. For the first about 8 years I had them several times a day every day. I lived in the ER and have been to almost every hospital in the New York area even Boston MA. In the middle of all of this I’ve had a hysterectomy and a mastectomy as well as other surgeries and illnesses. I’m left with permanent weakness in my legs and chronic fatigue. My husband is so wonderful and has been through all of this with me and has always been very supportive and so have my children.

This has been going on for the past 21 years. I wrote a little bit of my story on a past blog and someone read it and wrote me saying it sounded like what they have. I presented this rare illness to my doctor who agreed.
There is a specialist in Pennsylvania who sees people from all over the country because he is good at diagnosing people with rare conditions. This doctor is not on my insurance plan….but a dear friend is paying for me to see this specialist  on September 13, 2011 at 2pm. (God is so good!)

I’m asking for my brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for me that God will reveal and heal me in Jesus name. There is power in prayer……..my own son was healed of the devastating effects of cerebral palsy…so I know…God is a healer! I am grateful for doctors and I will go to this doctor…but my hope is in the greatest physician…. my Lord and my God.

Will you agree in prayer with me? Thanks so much!

Message for today: I put my trust in the Lord who tells me in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all my care on Him…….I’m doing just that.

Labor Day…The benefits of working

People who work.....Hey they look happy

Proverbs 10: 4, 5

4 Lazy hands make for poverty,
but diligent hands bring wealth.

5 He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son,
but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.

I admire people who have jobs because I have not been able to since I was 18 years old because of my health condition and I’m 59 now. I’m happy that I was able to raise 6 children and keep my home running well through it all.
I look at you guys who have jobs and I say to myself…look at all I’m missing:

1. Getting up early and seeing the sunrise…and for some seeing the beautiful sunset.
2. Having a boss or supervisor…someone to look up to.
3. Having great co-workers.
4. Someone to celebrate your birthday with.
5. Having people to give you a party…shower, baby, retirement.
6. Someone to have adult conversation with during the day.
7. Free perks…baseball tickets and more.
8. Always getting to eat out.
9. You get a vacation
10. You get money…a paycheck and even bonuses.

You guys don’t play when going to work. One day I had to be up at the crack of dawn to go somewhere and I was driving my car…. I was scared of you all. I felt like Mr. Magoo out there on the road…you guys drive so fast and everyone is in a hurry to get somewhere.

One day I went to a doctor in NYC and I had to take the train home during rush hour from Penn Station to the Long Island Railroad. I’m a slow walker because of my legs so my daughter who lives in the city met me at the station to help me get to my train and even came in the train to make sure I got a seat. There was a million people (seemed like that many to me) trying to get onto one little train. It was wild I tell you.

I’m so thankful that my husband and the Lord is my provider and I thank God and my wonderful husband for taking care of me. The bible does say a lot about people needing to work for a living. You can thank the first human beings for having to work really hard…..oh what were their names?…..like I forgot that…..Uncle Adam and Aunt Eve!!
Adam did have a little job…I think God never intended for anyone to get a free ride…Genesis 2:15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

But a problem arose and this was the result:

Genesis 3:17-19

To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat food from it
all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return.”

“Oh man!……come on Adam….what were you thinking….you don’t mess with God like that!!”

Praise the Lord for your job!

Message for today: Well…to all those who have a job….and have to or choose to work…God bless you!! Keep up the good work! Oh……and happy Labor day!!

Spirit every minute of every day and don’t let your love for God grow dim..not
even for a minute.

This morning as I woke up I was thinking about all the
people in the bible and some of the great quotes that have been said.  Everybody has something that reflects their
heart.  Can you please share yours with
me today?

My mom who went home to be with the Lord always said this:

“Weak people lie, strong people tell the truth.”

She taught this to me and my sister and all her
grandchildren and great-grands.  My saying,
love the Lord like crazy is worded a little rough but it’s what I feel I do and
it reflects who I am. No…come on…I’m not crazy LOL…I just love the Lord so so
much and I want everyone to love God that way.

When my 6 children were born they all had a medical issue
and I made a promise to God that if He spared their lives I would raise them to
know and love Him….and I did do that and I know they do.

Message for today: Have you left your mark on this world?

What would people who know you say you always said? ….Your
famous quote is……………

What Time Is It?

Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

It is time to go into the entire world and tell all people….neighbors….friends….family….co-workers…acquaintances.…..and complete strangers about the good news of Jesus Christ. It is the time and has been the time since this great commission has been given.

In the past few months we have had, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, hailstorms, fires, extreme heat, and tornados. Many people have lost their lives and have lost their houses, businesses, cars and belongings. The emotional effect that all of this has had on people is tremendous. Right now we know that people need financial help to get back to a place of physical comfort…but people also need hope and encouragement.

This is the TIME for us Christians to be discerning, wise, spirit led, gospel spreading, love overflowing, encouraging, caring, helpful, Jesus imitating, people that God wants us and has instructed us to be.

What time is it? It’s time to tell others about the good news….John 3:16….so others might experience God’s grace and mercy for their lives. Many are upset, confused, and discouraged by all that has happen to them right now and there are many hurting souls that are looking for answers and help. It’s time to speak up…..to walk the talk…..let our light shine….lead folks to the light…our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mathew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

To my Christian brothers and sisters out there…..please share your faith and the hope you have with anyone the Lord leads you to. I know it’s challenging to start talking about Jesus to people, but you are not alone in this….the Holy spirit does the big work….He’s already working on people before you open your mouth….we need to be ready, prepared and available. The time is now…..this is your season. The Lord gave me this message today…..God speaks…I listen….and share.

Message for today: Somebody is waiting for you to share your faith…..Your neighbor has been watching you… to see how you a Christian…. is handling your stressful situation….Your co-worker loss her home and is depressed…..how will you act….what will you do…what will you say…. What time is it?….look at your watch right now….that’s what time it is….yup….it’s now…Let’s roll!
