Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by . I’m sure you must be curious about what God is speaking to me about. As a young child I have spoken to God. I was introduced to him by my parents as a toddler and also in Sunday school. I wrote him letters as a child and just talked to Him. One day I asked Him to help me with something that was very important to me and He answered that prayer. From that day on I was a true believer that God was real and He answers prayer.
I became totally committed to God in 1984 and since that day I have had unbelievable prayer times with the Lord. God the Father, God the Son, And God the Holy Spirit are such a major part of my life. I want to share things from my prayer times on a regular basis. I feel this is a journey I want and need to take in my life right now. I’m a 10 year breast cancer survivor and VERY happy to be alive today. I’m going to share messages from the Lord as well as testimonies and stories. Please feel free to subscribe to my blog. God bless you in every way!
God is truly amazing and He amazes me everyday.
Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for
him with all your heart and with all your soul.
God bless you!

I remember growing up, I wasn’t sure what I believed. I was baptized as an infant, made my communion, and confirmation. However, I was going through the motions because at the ages these events took place, I wanted to play Atari, or with my friends. I honestly was not quite there spiritually, emotionally, or mentally.
I found Jesus much later in life. It began when I met my wife, Karen in 2005. She slowly introduced faith into my life, and it was contagious as it grew stronger and stronger over the years. I began viewing televised sermons. It began to make sense.
Then, at 37 years old I was stricken with stage 4a cancer as Mrs. Nemley was kind enough to share with you all. The will to live story above—Glen Cove Police Officer Scott Genova.
When I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness, survived a coma and sespis, I knew the Lord healed me. I prayed a lot, and cried a lot. Karen prayed over me and read healing scriptures daily. I never cursed GOD for my sickness, and was not angry as many would think. I was more frightened and disappointed in myself. Nobody forced me to smoke cigarettes for 17 years, especially our Lord. I did it. I made a poor decision and now I had to pay the price for that poor decision 17 years prior. I promised the Lord if he spared me I would give back, and talk to our children at schools about “NOT SMOKING AND MY BATTLE WITH CANCER.” I have given 5 presentations to date. Thank you Lord. I asked the Lord to give me the strength to march in the 2010 and 2011 Memorial Day Parade with my police brothers and sisters. I marched in both parades successfully. Thank you Lord. I asked for him to heal my cancer. I have been in remission since October 2010. Thank you Lord. I asked he heal our family emotionally and bring us closer together after a long painful sickness, which took a enormous toll on my wife and two boys. Things are getting better. Thank you Lord.
Thank you Mrs. Nemley for you inspiration and wonderful website. You are an amazing woman. God bless you all and your families. Be safe and enjoy your summer. Thank you Lord.

I remember as well, when I was a child, picking up my dad’s Bible, looking at the beautiful pictures, and reading the stories I didn’t understand. As an adult, I understand what he was setting me up for, and because of the closeness I have gotten with our Father in heaven, and our Savior, Jesus Christ I understand how to hear and listen to Him which has helped throughout the good, and the bad, especially when my husband had undergone cancer treatment as well. Thankyou for pouring your heart and soul out to others, it is a gift to us all. Karen Genova
