God Speaks I Listen

I need to share what happened in my prayer closet yesterday. I heard this scripture:

Matthew 21: 37-38  37 Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind!

“LOVE GOD!” He created us with perfect love for us. We need to love Him back….really really hard! Love God like you’ve lost your mind.

But are you sure of His love for you because if you’re not….you won’t be able to love Him like crazy.

I now spend 10% of my time in prayer asking God for my prayer request and 90% of my prayer time loving Him, worshipping Him and praising Him. At this time in my life I need to be one with Him in a deep relationship. I make my prayer request known to Him every day and throughout the day as things come up… but I worship a lot.

The greatest commandment is to love God with everything that we have in us.

What is the benefit of loving God this hard? A unique deeply close relationship with God. Jesus did so much for us to have this close relation with God and the Holy Spirit keeps trying to reveal the deep things of God to us. Why? So we can have a closer walk with Him and because God created us for Himself.

I’m not special in my relationship with God. He loves us all!!! I have been telling people for years to love God. Every time I sing I tell people to love God. I’ve handed out pamphlets I made about my life telling people to love God. I blog often about this. I will tell people to love God until day I die! Jesus could have said anything for the greatest commandment but He said “love God”.

If you walked up to me and asked me how much I love God I would try to tell you and start crying really badly. Ask yourself that question right now. Is something being stirred up from deep in your heart and you feel overwhelmed with love for God?

My love for God deepened much more about 5 years ago when my husband taught a lesson on how God planned to create us to be His child and the angel lucifer was sooo jealous that he tried to destroy God plan for humanity. We are closer to God than the angels. He even made us in His own image. We all are very very special to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit!!!!! God so loved the world and came down here (Emanuel) to save us from eternal damnation! Do you get how much He loves you?

Jesus said…..”Love God”….it the GREATEST command! What more can I say?
