Weddings take a lot of preparation.  We too are going to a heavenly wedding one day. We all are the bride and Jesus is the groom.  We must BE ready for His appearance!!!

One day many years ago, I thought I was going to die. Here’s my story.  I have suffered for the past 33 years from a rare disorder that causes me at times to have severe attacks of horrible scary symptoms. One day in 1995 I was home alone when I had one of the worst attacks ever. I made it to a chair and leaned back and thought, this is it…death. Although I was a Christian My first instinct was to ask God to forgive me of all my sins.  I knew I was going to see God and I wanted to be so clean inside. I cried to God saying, “please forgive me of everything”. I closed my eyes and waited. Death did not come that day, thank God. My mother-in-law told me when she thought she was going to die she asked God to forgive her too.  She had gone into cardiac arrest and coded.

When you think, you are going to see God your first instinct will be to make sure you are right with God! We all should be feeling like that right now! Not that we are going to die, but that we do want our soul to be right with God. God is 100% clean because He is Holy. We should want to be like our Father God.  God told us this, for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16 Be clean because God is clean!

We don’t know how close we are to Jesus coming back for us in the rapture.  We do know that it will be soon.  We don’t know the exact day Jesus is coming for us, but I do know we should make sure we are sanctified by the blood of the Lamb and are maintaining a life of holiness.

I just had a vision while writing this of long lines of people lining up at cleansing stations that the Holy Spirit has set up all over the world.  People are being washed clean.  There are baptisms going on all over the world. People are also being washed by the blood of the Lamb. I see people crying and repenting of their sins.  I hear people saying, “I’m so sorry” to God. I hear people yelling Jesus’ name and asking for mercy. Jesus is so busy bathing people with love and forgiveness.  He’s saying to people “you’re going to be ok. You will be able to be with the Father one day. Jesus will be there to present you faultless to God.”

If you and I could only see in the spirit all that is going on around us and all that God is doing in preparation for His children.  He is bringing in this last harvest. The grapes on the vine are ripe.  Be ready for what’s going on.  Consecrate yourselves! Anointing will follow in the shadow of your obedience.

This is a holy time! Have on your spiritual ears.  Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. Be holy! Be holy! Be holy!

This is the time to consecrate yourselves to the Lord. The Merriam-Webster dictionary meaning of consecration is to officially promise to give one’s time and attention to something. It means to dedicate yourself to worship, prayer, and studying the bible. Set yourself a part of the daily routine of life and seek a renewal of mind and self-examination of your soul. It’s a time to think about the holiness of God and your holiness.  It’s a time of repentance and rededication. It is a special time.  2021 is a special time! What is your reaction to this season. Shock, fear, humbled? Prayerful, loving, kind? Trusting, believing, worshipful? Whatever your reaction…consecrate yourselves! Be ready for whatever.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
