It is no secret that things in this world are far from normal. I’m not even going to list current world events because we are living it and you know all about it already.
Usually, we want to leave the rough year we had behind, and we look forward to the next year. But with so many negative things facing us next year who wants to go there? We have no choice but to enter 2022 because the New Year will be here next week ready or not. One thing God has impressed upon me is we need to pull God into the New Year!!!! We dare NOT go into the year without Him. In fact, push Him over there first and we’ll follow Him there. WE WILL NEED HIM FOR ALL OF NEXT YEAR!!! Say to God, “go on before me and make the way clear! Please Lord move the roadblocks and take me around the detours.”
I have had an incredible prayer life since 1984 to present. I have been interceding in prayer for all kinds of things but mostly for unsaved souls. I have had dreams and visions from God. In my deep prayer times, I have seen myself in a heaven kind of area where I worship God and boldly present my prayer request to Him. God has told me and showed me a lot of things that are going on. But going into my special prayer place was closed off to me in 2008. I wrote a blog about this in 2011. You can read it here: Message given to me by the Lord in 2008…Put your spiritual ears on | God Speaks I Listen (godspeaks-i-listen.com)
As I said since 2008 the heavens have been closed off to me and I pray now from down here in my realm. There HAS been a change in earthly and heavenly activity. For the past 2 years I have been asking God, what is going on down here with all this accelerated earthly turmoil? He hasn’t answered back too much about it. He mostly speaks to me about what I should be doing during this time. Please read my message from 2008 with the link above because even though I got the message in 2008, it is for now and the coming 2022.
This is a line from my 2008 message:
Those who put their trust in me will not be blown by the wave of this world’s uncertainty.
This is what our mindset should be in this trying season:
- Trust what the bible says!
- Trust the Holy Spirits influence in your life!
- Trust in the careful preparation God has done in your life thus far!
- Trust that God has supernature power and wisdom!
- Trust that God has your best interest at heart!
- Trust in the holiness of God!
- Trust that Jesus is interceding for us all!
- Trust that You can’t make it without God!
- Trust that you need a prayer life and interaction with God
- Trust that Jesus name has power!
WE ALL NEED THE POWER OF GOD IN OUR LIVES!!!
PRAY TO FATHER GOD IN JESUS NAME ABOUT EVERYTHING!
DON’T TRUST IN WHAT YOU THINK THE ANSWER SHOULD BE, BUT TRUST THAT GOD KNOWS BEST!
This is a Tanya Nemley quote: “It’s His world and His ways!”
You may not like what is going on right now. Don’t fight against this but let it propel you into the arms of God. King David prayed this way:
….Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. Psalms 57:1
He will hold you close and comfort you. He is with us in the fire! God doesn’t think like us. We can’t understand His ways! He sees what’s going on. He’s not deaf, to our cries or misguided to our needs on these earthly matters. In fact, He’s even closer to you than you think. Earth right now is in a chaotic season. We should pull up a chair and sit, rest and be still while we are in God’s waiting room. We all want relief.
If we don’t keep calm and adopt a new way of life, we might become overexposed to fear and get stressed out and become anxious. Next stop might lead to depression. Some are already suffering with Post traumatic stress syndrome. It’s our choice how we handle this all. All kinds of calamities and illnesses are here and are probably going to be here well into 2022.
We all are having some sort of response to what’s going. What we see on the news and in our community can be affect our heart, mind and soul in a negative way. This is the body’s natural response to stressful situations. How we handle these things are up to us. Either we are going to trust God in this or not. We all have studied the bible, prayed, gone to church and because life has gotten difficult how are we going to react to trials? Trusting and holding on or fearful and doubting?
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
This is what God told me personally to do. He said, “focus on me”. He said He should be my focus 100% of my time now. My purpose is Him. My plans are Him. My goal is Him. My satisfaction is Him. My dreams are Him. My future is Him.
I am still living and yes enjoying my life, my family, my friends, my husband and my children. We laugh and have fun. But there are things I must do to survive and that is to trust God and focus on Him. I must study His word and pray. I have a responsibility to keep myself in the best spiritual condition possible. I have the Holy Spirit to assist me. Last year my husband did a teaching on “When God’s grace is not enough”. I was like, what in the world is up with that title? But it is when we don’t receive His grace that is so freely given to us. Rev. James Nemley said: God’s grace is ours forever. He said, grace is actively and continually working in the lives of God’s people.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (Message bible) So, friends, take a firm stand, feet on the ground and head high. Keep a tight grip on what you were taught, whether in personal conversation or by our letter. May Jesus himself and God our Father, who reached out in love and surprised you with gifts of unending help and confidence (Grace), put a fresh heart in you, invigorate your work, enliven your speech. Grace is a gift from God…receive it!
My New Year’s message is simple this year:
PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD!
FOCUS ON GOD!
FEAR NOT!
Pray this beautiful prayer today:
God, my shepherd!
I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.
4 Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
makes me feel secure.
5 You serve me a six-course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
my cup brims with blessing.
6 Your beauty and love chase after me
every day of my life.
I’m back home in the house of God
for the rest of my life. Psalms 23 (Message Bible)
My prayer for you:
“‘ “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” ’
In Jesus name…Amen
