God Speaks I Listen

In previous New Years messages, I have given words of warning about what’s going to happen in the world.  This year message will be slightly different.  We all know now that things in the world have taken a sharp turn for the worst so there’s no need for any more warnings about that.  It’s so unfortunate that this is the norm now.  Instead I’m going to share what God has for me in 2020.  I’m going to share my own personal New Year’s resolution.

I want the anointing of God like never before.  What is the anointing of God? The definition of anointing is: A Hebrew word mashiach (messiah) is “anointed”, which refers to a ritual of consecrating someone or something by putting holy oil upon it.   Spiritual anointing is accomplished by and through the Holy Spirit.

1 John 2:27  But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Luke 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

2 Corinthians 1:21   Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,

Spiritual anointing is the consecration given by God through the power of the Holy Spirit for service to God and for the purpose of bringing glory to God.  All children of God are anointed because of being sealed by the Holy Spirit at the point of salvation.  God anoints people in different areas to work for Him beyond salvation anointing and for an office or service to Him. We need this anointing to be effectual in our service to Him.  We must not work for Him on our own.  We need the anointing and we need the Holy Spirit in order to achieve what’s God will and plans for our service to Him.

For me…my New Year’s resolution is:

1. I need more of God’s anointing in my life!!! I want more of the Holy Spirit and His influence to flow from me like a damn breaking and pouring water out and touching those around me!!!
2. John 3:30 Paul says… “He must become greater; I must become less.” I don’t want people to see me, I want them to see Jesus in me!  I am but a servant of the Lord.  I don’t want them to see and be impressed with Tanya Nemley!!!!  I want them to see, know and love JESUS!!!!! Drop the mike!
3. I will lay on the ground prostrate before Holy God, my Father. I will submit myself before Him in surrendering my body, soul and mind to His will and His way in my life.  I will ask Him to forgive me for anything that’s not right in my heart. I will repent of any wrong doing.  I will ask Jesus to wash me clean.  I will say to the Lord…” master, I’m available to you and I’m at your service.  Please use me, my Lord and Savior!”  Yeah…a lot of I will’s, but good ones!

I want more anointing, less of me and to submit myself to the Lord so that I can be of service to my God!!!  I feel this is what God is saying to His children.  God could have taken us all home right after we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, but God left us here to be a light, and beacon to shine in a dark satan controlled world.  But I see some people that are Christians have duct tape over their mouths and plastic wrapped around their bodies so that nothing about the gospel is seen or heard of in their lives. Basically, useless for the kingdom of God. Did we share the good news with just one soul? What a horrible day when one stands before God with nothing to show for anything, we have done for Him in our whole time on earth.

NEW YEAR’S 2020  Mathew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Father God,

Please help all who read this to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and help them to promote your kingdom.  Help them to let their light (which is you) shine to those around them.  I know this task is a hard one for many. But I know you have help available for us to accomplish this.  Help them to understand that this is very close to your heart. Thank you for sending your own son to us.  Thank you for all the love you have shown us.  Bless each person reading this today and in 2020.  We love you Father God!  In Jesus name Amen.

My mom and my mother-in-law though my husband and my love for Sci-Fi movies and TV shows was strange.  They were not having it!  Both have gone home to be with the Lord and when I see them again, I know they will both agree with me that God ‘s world is Sci-Fi for real.  Can you ponder this, that God can hear and know every single person’s thoughts/prayers all at the same time!  That God created this galaxy and I’m sure millions of others.  Wow…that’s mind blowing!

When you read the bible and read about what His throne looks like and all the creatures, He has surrounding it…it makes you think…oh my goodness? 

Isaiah 6:1-2 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. ² Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

When I go outside and I look up into the sky on a clear day and see the beautiful blue sky…I know that beyond the sky there is no atmosphere and it’s black and cold with no oxygen. I realize that God made this planet perfectly balanced with everything we need to exist on it. I’m so amazed at His creativity and power!

If you go to the beach on a stormy day and look at the huge waves and the sound that those waves make…it reminds me of God’s awesome power.

What about this description of Jesus in Revelations?

Revelations 1:12-16 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

Why am I telling you this?  Because I want you to think out of the box with God.  I want you to know who we are dealing with.  God is not a casual kinda being.  He is supernatural and not like anything in the entire universe!  He is unique!  These pitiful words I write say nothing to reveal the reality of who He is.  It’s not in our make-up to comprehend Him…but I tell you from experience, He will reveal Himself to you if you want Him too.  He has a unique way of accomplishing this…1.  The word 2. Prayer 3. The Holy Spirit. You must think outside the box if you want to really know who God your Father truly is!  You must meditate on what the bible reveals about God.

Why should you think about who God is?    

1. Because it helps you respect that God is supernatural and has extreme powers.
2. It helps you to know that God can do anything way beyond your imagination.
3. It gives you some fear or respect for His abilities.
4. It helps you to remember that He is NOT human.
5. It keeps your perspective about who you are and who He is in check.
6. You conclude that His world is much different from ours.
7. You realize that we are a grain of sand in this world and He is all that and much more!

God’s world is way over our heads, but being the kind of God that He is that, He has loved us and has been very gentle with us.  With all that power, He could been a mean stern dictator and ruler but He has shown us love.  This supernatural God with all this power invited us to live in His supernatural KINGDOM forever. But not only that, we will also rule and reign with Him.  This is not your norm people!  Do you realize how special you are?  God gave you consciousness…you are alive!  Who can do that?  This is all so unbelievable!  But it’s real!

What can I do for God for all He has done for little old me…that grain of sand me?

1. I can accept His gift of salvation.
2. I can worship Him and thank Him for all He’s done for me.
3. I can read and obey His word.
4. I can love Him back with everything I am.
5. I can be a living sacrifice and go out and tell others about the good news!!!!!

The greatest thing we can do for God is this: Luke 10:27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’;

Folks, we are not dealing with anything that is remotely normal for us.  God is not of this world. There is nothing normal about God.  This earth we are living on now will one day be completely changed into His world and His kingdom and will never end.  His world is very unusual for us.  We can’t even see God in our present human form.  We are being transformed now so we can be presented to God with a supernatural holy and sanctified body. Jesus Christ has made God’s plan because of His death and resurrection possible for us all. Jude 1:24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy–

Our God from another kingdom/world has a plan to bring us into His kingdom.  We need to work with Him for our benefit.  We need to see Him in a Sci-Fi way so that we can try and comprehend that God is VERY unusual and unique and He is our Father.  We need to know Him and get with His program every single day!  We need to be as close to His world as possible in this world.  God gave us 2 great Helps.  The bible and The Holy Spirit who is our guide.

We need to stop acting like this world is all that our life is.  This is not our home.  We are aliens in it.  We are just passing through to another world, heaven.   We are made in God’s image!  Let Jesus conform you to be like Him so He can present us to our supernatural unique and Holy Father one day.

I so appreciate God uniqueness and I love that my Father who is a supernatural being loves me so and wants me to be in His world!!!

Isaiah 45:5-6  I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. To seek to harm, intimidate, or coerce someone who is perceived as vulnerable. It’s behavior that hurts, harms, or humiliates a person, either physically or emotionally.  Sometimes the bully doesn’t even realize their actions are a form of bullying.

The first bullies in my life were my parents.  I was ALWAYS messing up ( bad grades, my room etc.) so I was ALWAYS in trouble for something.  I could never do anything right.   The next bullies were a few classmates and teachers.  Next was my abusive ex-husband. Over the years it has been many church leaders.  And finally, some family members.

I read a story this morning of yet another child who was bullied and laid across railroad tracks and was killed by a train.  My heart broke and I cried a little.  I thought of how I really understood how that kid felt.

I thought of all the bullying that I have and am presently going though and what it has done to me.  Bullying has been painful for me, but is a part of who I am.  I looked at who I am, and I thought of what all this bullying has done to me.  I feel I’m different from other people and that has made me a target, but it has also made me a better person.  I’m very aware of other people’s feelings and care about others a lot.  I live to make other peoples lives more pleasant.  I try to encourage other people who are down.  I’m a soloist and the songs I sing are to encourage others and I sing them with great intensity.

Bullying has truly changed me as a person.  I’m always fighting the awful effects of what was done to me by other people’s words and actions.  Everything that has ever been done to me is lumped together into one big basket and at times that basket presses down on top of my head. When I feel that weight of all that negativity, I push the basket off of me.  This basket can appear on me if I’m sick, tired or have just been freshly bullied. Unfortunately, it’s a plague that I will be fighting off until the day I die.

 I’m very aware of these attacks now and I can get rid of them whenever they occur by doing this: James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  I now know my self-worth because of my Christian faith and because I know what I need to do to get in a better place mentally. In the bible it says this about my life:  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well Psalms 139:14.

 Life experiences has been a good teacher for me in how I have gotten through past bullying situations.  I also have a wonderful husband who has been a great support for me as well as a great counselor who has helped me over the years when I needed her.

Beginning at age 12 years old, bullying almost made me take my own life.  I’m grateful for a miracle from God that I was healed from suicide attempts and depression caused by bullying over 36 years ago. No one should have to live their life being attacked by bullies. It’s a fact of life that bulling has been going on since the beginning of mankind and will always be here. Bullies are perpetrators of mental violence on innocent people who are never looking for any kind confrontation from anyone.  Evil hearted people are going to be who they naturally are.

This is what the bible explains as to their behavior.

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

1John 3:10 By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.

(When Christians bully it’s called….”sin” because of 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8)

Victims of bullying must learn how to internally and mentally respond to bullying so that it doesn’t destroy them from the inside. We must learn how to protect ourselves from the toxic people. This is our responsibility to do this for ourselves. We should never hate bullies.  We should practice forgiveness for our benefit and healing.  God wants us to pray for those who do this to us because He is the one who deals with evil behavior and His justice is very tough.  They will need our prayers. 

I have taken my cue about being bullied from Jesus who was bullied, beat up and killed.: Luke 23:34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

These are some great quotes that I found on line that I felt were very good on this subject:

The goal of an adult bully is to gain power over another person and make himself or herself the dominant adult. They try to humiliate victims, and “show them who is boss.”

There is little you can do about an adult bully, other than ignore and try to avoid!

Project confidence. Self-confidence is your best weapon against a hater. Laugh off insults, drop witty comebacks, and stay positive. If you don’t let your confidence slip, a hater is more likely to get frustrated simply start leaving you alone.

For example, if someone insults your art, take the high road. Try saying: “I’m sorry you feel that way. 

If someone calls you “weird,” you could say: “Maybe a little, but I like who I am!!!

When you are walking by someone who hates you, don’t look down or lean the other way. That kind of posture tells the hater that you’re afraid, that you’re giving the hater what he or she wants. Instead, stand up tall with your head held high.

Don’t be rash. Haters feed on your emotions. If you respond quickly and emotionally, there’s a good chance that you won’t be able to make a strong point. If you lash out, you will only give them more reason to make fun of you. Do not let your words be clouded by anger and frustration. Give yourself the time to cool down before you respond.

Odds are that on some level, they are uncomfortable with their own identities. Some people even act hatefully because they are jealous,

Don’t let other people’s opinions rent space in your head. You have better things to think about and more positive things you could be focusing on.

Don’t care. Think: are these people going to be in your life forever? Probably not. Surround yourself with those who make you happy!

Try to avoid them as much as possible.

Instead of worrying about the hater and letting it ruin your life, try to think about things that make you happy instead. Yes… one cannot get anything by worrying, but put your worrying act into a positive thinking and achieve a great rest…

(Understanding hard trials)

Earth and all the Humans on earth belong to God!  Everything pertaining to this world goes His way, with His plan and His order of things.  God calls the shots period.  He created this world and has all rights to it and us!  Originally this world was perfect.  God says this Himself over and over again in Genesis 1 “God saw that it was good.” Then Sin entered this world in Genesis 3:6.  God had a plan to redeem us. Why did He create a plan?  Because of this wonderful scripture verse…John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Why am I saying all this?   I have been through and are presently going through really difficult trials.  I still love God like crazy and I don’t blame God for my pain and suffering now.  I use to in the past.  Why God why?  When are you going to help me God?  Why are you letting me suffer God?  Why did you take that away from me God? When are you going heal me God?  I’ve learned that it’s His world and His way and I need to get with His program and not mine!  Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  Our joys and sorrows are all in God’s plan for us.  There is NOTHING that we go through that is a shocking to God.  He doesn’t get any enjoyment out of seeing us suffer either.  In fact He has given us an amazing way through all we go through.  It’s called…Grace.  One of God’s attributes is that He is merciful!  I need to pray about my need and say to God…”I really love and trust you no matter what happens to me!!!”

Now I’m about to give you another powerful point.  When you know for an absolute fact that God really loves you….you understand that no matter what you go through that no situation can separate you from Him and from His love for you.  Reassurance of God’s love will hold you up under ANY extremely difficult trial you may face! I have learned to say what Job said… Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.Job13:15

My next powerful point in dealing with suffering is knowing who you are in Christ. I need to be reassured in my mind that Jesus time here on earth and sacrifice at the cross was for my good in every aspect my life.  Jesus trip to the cross guaranteed me that my name is written in the Lambs book of life.  Also when Jesus left this earth He sent the Holy Spirit who lives in us and helps through every aspect of our lives!!! God DOES have our backs!!!

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said these words to King Nebuchadnezzar when they were going to be burn up in a furnace “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Daniel 3:17-18.  Did you read those words…”EVEN IF HE DOES NOT DELIVER US”.  Now those are some trusting words there.  Why are those words so significant? 

Because when you know that God loves you, sent His Son to die for you and that your name is written in the Lambs book of life…you can endure anything that’s throw at you because:

1. You know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord so what can man or the devil do to you.

2.  We love God Just because of who He is and not just because of what He does for us.  When we love God just because of who He is, we are freed from using Him like a genie in a bottle.  We pray and wait for His answer.  We just flat out trust Him in the way He answers our prayers… no matter what!!!

3. God always has your back.  You may not always feel that He does but HE DOES!   When you study His word you WILL know what God can do for you.  That knowledge will give you that “hang-in-there” strength you need.  God can give you unbelievable grace when you’re waiting for an answer to your prayer request.

Now to you it may sound harsh for me to say it’s His world and His way…but the reality is that…it’s a fact.  Life in general is a though road.  Nobody has it easy.  But you have to look at the big picture which is God wanted a human to be His real child.  He created a planet for them to live on.  Since He is so holy and set apart…nobody just gets a free ride to be His very own child. A blood sacrifice had to be given.   So God got His only Son to give His life so that we would have all that we needed to have an abundant life on earth and eternal life in heaven.  It’s His plan and His way…that’s it.  You may not like how He does things.  You may not understand some of the harsh things He allows to happen….but it is what it is.  His world His way.  It’s the way God does things.  We can pray and ask for help but we cannot force Him into doing what we want Him to do for us.

We have to take a page from Job: He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. Job 2:10

We must love God and just love Him period.  Let our love for God stand alone.  God’s greatest attribute is His love for us.  Don’t look at God in the view of our troubles.  That will cause us to judge and question Him and say…why God why? 1 Peter 4:12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

God is not springing anything on us.  He warned us in His word that things will be challenging for us.   Jesus did a lot for us so we can make it in this world. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 Yes there is going to be trouble.  His world His ways.

Let me tell you…I have my ways…ask my husband and my children.  In my house whole I made the plans and rules and my kids jobs was to obey me….period.  I birthed them and I was responsible for all their care.  I took that job very seriously.  It was a great responsibility!!  Well God took on the responsibility for the humans He created.  He held back nothing for us to prosper.    He gave His only Son to make sure the plan would come out perfect!!!  He could do all that because He made us!!!  He has that right and it’s His way.

So for me….I had to get with His plan!!!!!  I’m not a fan of His plans because they hurt, are sometimes painful and difficult to get through.  But I see the big picture that He has for me that He’s written out in His word.  I keep my mind on all that He’s promised me in this life and the next.  I reach out and accept the grace He’s already prepared to help me.  I’m fully covered!!  I look back in my life and remember all the times He has bought me through.  I’m sure there will be some difficult days ahead, but I know God is there to see me through.

My mom suffered so in her last 3 years of life.  I always heard her talk about how good God was to her.  She praised Him with her last breath.   In her last year she made it her mission to tell everyone to put God first.  At this time she was having daily seizures after having had a few strokes.  But she kept listening to her praise music and worshiping God.  She was always praying to God. 

In the hard times we must immerse ourselves in pray, worship, and meditating on the word of God.  He promised to help us in this life.  When we cross over to His heavenly realm to our unimaginable eternal life, we will receive rewards for our suffering and we will NEVER go through any more pain ever again!!!  Come on children of God….we can do this!  God knows what HE’s doing!  He loves us and has perfect motives for our survival through this life.  Let’s close the book on our own plans for our lives and open His book for the plans for our life.  We are HIS CREATIONS!  He set this whole thing up.  It’s His world and His way….let jump on His band wagon!

I know that you are aware that I haven’t been posting lately.  I have had brain fog because I have suffered with a chronic illness and find it difficult to concentrate and to write.   I started blogging in 2011 and I can tell you it’s been a real miracle because of the learning disability I suffer with.  I have shared so much over the many years of blogging.  I’ve told my most difficult challenges and my happy times too. 

The most important times I’ve shared has been about my intimacy with God.  I’ve shared how much God loves me and you.  The big take away here in my blogs is about putting God first and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others!  Jesus has made all this even possible!!!

I may write something in the future if I feel the Lord leading me to do so.  I want to leave that open door. But for this season I will concentrate on doing His will with the time God has graced me to be here on this earth.  I’m desperate for the world to know my Jesus so their souls may be saved and destined for heaven.

I have met so many people on WordPress that I call my friend like Debbie: Musings by an ND Domer’s Mom, Sherline’s Watchu Thinkin’ Blog, Jeanne: WOMEN’S WINDOW: Tricia’s Journal Jots Blog, and many others.  Thank you so much for your friendship.

Please think about all the things I’ve shared.  It took me soooo long to write each blog.  I did it to share how GREAT God is and how much He loves you!  I give God all the praise for what He has allowed to do post on WordPress.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:24-25

You know that God is in you. Do you feel Him in you? He wants to be a part of your everyday life. He gave you life and bought you for a price. When you accepted His Son Jesus as your Lord and Savior… God became your Father and now He owns you. All He ask is that you love Him and love others. You need to praise Him not for Him… but for your own sake. When you praise Him you have His attention and He inhabits your life and your inner man in a deep and personal way. When you need Him He’s right there. Because He owns you… you’re His responsibility now. Father God takes care of His Children!!!

This coming year 2019 you will need to be keenly aware of His presence! You need the security of being able to sense that He’s very close to you. This is done by praising and worshiping Father God. Praise Him while the sun is shining because when it starts to rain things can become very challenging. If you learn to praise and worship Father God in the sunshine then when the rain comes you can endure and maintain your joy much easier. There have been many nights of weeping for many people in 2018 and the weeping will not stop going forth. The earth and everything in and around it is in hard labor. Jesus return is coming soon. Gods worshiping children will experience strength, comfort, endurance, peace and will have great hope and will be blessed with amazing grace!!!

You don’t need to go to a place of worship to praise Father God. Praise Him in your heart all day and night wherever you are. Everything you need to know to get through 2019 is in the bible. Study and meditate on God’s word daily. Worship is going on in heaven right now and we should be doing this also down here on earth. Don’t be distracted by everything that is going on in this world right now. Be distracted in a good way by your worship and praise to God.

THIS SONG IS EXATLY WHAT I HEAR THE HOLY SPIRIT IS SAYING FOR 2019!!!! WHEN WE FOCUS ON JESUS….THE THINGS ON EARTH WILL NOT BE AS PAINFUL!

Please don’t read this blog and go on your merry way. The rain is falling on the unrighteous…but the righteous are being affected too!!! Danger and situations are affecting everyone. The peace you need is the real peace that only God can give. God is your help! Man is limited in how he can help man. People are crying out to God for help because God CAN WORK IT OUT FOR YOU!

I’ve been warning people about events and things for many years. In 2008 I posted in my New Year’s blog that things were going to get rough because God was going to do His own thing His own way. My husband and I were saved/born again as kids but we both ignored God’s voice calling us to be committed to Him. God turned up the heat (trials…suffering). It was so hard to deal with so much turmoil in our lives that we both cried out to God for help. That was 30 years ago since we became committed to God and started living like how God wanted us to live. Life was still difficult at times… but when I look back I can see all the help and all the strength God gave us to make it through every trial!!!

With what I know about the drama coming in 2019 …if you don’t make a change in your life to put God first…to love Him like crazy…then when the storms come you will feel like you’re in a boat all by yourself in the middle of the ocean.   Oh the horror of that feeling!

I don’t want to be a Debbie downer here today….I’m throwing out to you life perseveres… releasing some life boats and anything else that can help somebody avoid inner turmoil, stress and a feeling of hopelessness. What do you do when your back is against the wall? What do you do when a fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, mass killing, accident, illness, etc. comes across your path? What will you do if the devil whispers in your ear that nobody cares about you and you need to take your own life?

I know…you will…Praise and worship the Lord your Father God and submit to His will and His way!

This is how God can help you when you put Him first. After you wake up from an operation the pain is really bad. As soon as the nurse sees that you’re awake she rushes over with a needle and injects you with pain medication and immediately the pain stops. The incision is still there but the nurse was able to make you comfortable. Jesus is able… by the power of the Holy Spirit… to comfort you! Not only is God helping with the pain but He is also working on helping you through the problem too.

YOU NEED TO BE ASSURED THAT IF YOU HAVE A SITUATION….GOD WILL BE THERE!!!!! HE WILL HELP YOU GET THROUGH IT!!!

Lastly for 2019 God wants you to be assured of His love for you! The only way you will know this is by studying the bible AND by praying/talking to Father God very often. There are no short cuts for this. Believe the bible and converse with God.

I pray for all of you for 2019….that you can see that things on this earth are steadily getting worse and the way to have less stress and to get peace of mind is your relationship and interaction with Father God. These declining earthly things have been predicted in the bible so this is no surprise to us. But seeing it happening and experiencing it… it is unsettling and surreal. In the past several years I’ve had a family member shot and killed, endured extreme damage due to hurricane Sandy, had a family member commit suicide as well as many of my friends have lost loved ones to suicide also. I’ve endured cancer and illness, financial crisis, etc. Without Jesus love, compassion and help….I’ve never could have made it!!!!

Turn you eyes upon Jesus!

Genesis 6:5
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. At the time of Noah every person except for Noah and his family had wickedness in their heart. That is not the case today…but there is a lot of wickedness and sinfulness on this earth right now. God is NOT a fan of this kind of behavior.

 
Romans 1:28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. This scripture was taking about sexual sins but there is a lot of that going on in today’s world.

GOD AIN’T PLAYIN’ WITH ANYBODY!

God don’t play!
Folk’s betta stop changin’ up His word!
Stop watering down the bible!
Changing laws that go against God’s word!
Stop disobeying God!
Repentant for your wrong doings!
Stop making your own plans!

 
God is love but………..Because of who He is….pure and holy….He demands that ALL…EVERYONE bow to His power and authority or else! He gives plenty of mercy and grace…but when you cross the line that he set up…then justice will be served whether you think it’s fair or not. God’s world…God’s rules!!!

 
You don’t have to follow if you don’t want to but be warned…there will be a price to pay. Jesus paid a very high price so that you can be right with His Father. But if you do things your way you will pay a very high price for your rebelliousness.

 

 

Many people think that God is mean and sadistic! They think this is not the way a loving God should act. You can say what you want to about His rules. God is not moved by how you feel about Him. The people who think God is horrible when something bad happens is a person who doesn’t understand or know who God really is.

 
You learn who God is by 4 things:
1. The bible
2. The holy Spirit
3. Prayer
4. Trials and victories

 
Psalms 33:8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!

 
You have to “get God”. When you get Him you love Him just because of who He is. This doesn’t mean you understand His ways…it just means you know that He is set apart from anything in your realm of normal. You understand that God is supernatural. You understand that He has made provisions to take care of you here on earth and after your death. After accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior you have built in assistance by means of the Holy Spirit. You are good to go!

 

This scripture verse really moves me to tears for those who go against God’s word or for those who are following a sinful lifestyle…….It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31 other versions use the words terrifying and fearful. GOD DOES NOT PUT UP WITH SIN!!!! When people go against God we all suffer for it. God’s children also suffer in calamities.

 
So the big controversial question is….Has the increase in catastrophes in the past several years have anything to do with God’s judgment on mankind?  I do know that humanity’s  rejection of Jesus Christ and  living wickedly is NOT helping our situation. I know from the following scripture that God predicted these things will happen:   2 Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. We are experiencing a decline in morality which can lead to judgement from the power that be.  That be…God.  God have mercy on us!
So what now? What do we do? We are all at risk at being caught up in the cross fire. But don’t fear, live a righteous life, stay prayed up and know your bible. Be careful, wise and alert. Do what you can to keep you and your family safe. This is the big thing for me….I feel God is telling me to do what He’s asked me to do which is to build His kingdom by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples. I must also keep my eyes on Jesus and stay focused!

 
We all are seeing an escalation of really horrible catastrophes and we will see much more in the days, weeks and years to come. We know that the whole creation has been groaning like the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Romans 8:22. As labor progresses the pain gets worse. The planet earth is in distress with all the earthquake, fires, floods, tsunamis, volcanos, mudslides, sink holes and tornados. Man is plagued with illnesses, extreme wickedness and mental deterioration.

 
It has been so surreal to watch the news now that I feel numb because things are happening so often. It’s not shocking anymore sadly… it’s almost expected. It has caused me to pray much more and to stay real close to God. This is the new normal now. This old hymn really says it all:

 
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Do you know what happens to you when you think you’re going to meet you’re maker in the next few seconds? I know because it happened to me once. I was so sick and I felt myself fading. Even though I was already saved when this happened to me years ago, I still wanted to make sure that I was clean inside before I saw God. Through my tears in that sacred moment I asked God to forgive me of anything I had ever done. My mother in law who had to be bought back to life with the paddles told me she had the same reaction to facing possible death.

 
Ephesians 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. We have to be holy and blameless in order to see God. The Holy Spirit in us helps us with seeking obtain holiness.
Jesus died on the cross so He could make this available for us: Jude 1:24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—

 
I’m telling you when you feel you are about to leave this world…a unique feeling comes over you in that special moment in your life. You feel that your physical condition is so severe that you think to yourself…this is it. You become keenly aware of your soul and where it’s going. The fear of seeing our powerful and mighty Father God comes over you. You feel that you don’t want your heart to be dirty. The reality of death is so very real to you in that moment. After I asked the Lord to forgive me, I had a unique sense of peace. I leaned back in my chair and waited for death to come, but that was not the day I was going to die. I will never forget that few minutes of my life.

 
From that near death experience I learn the importance of needing to be clean inside in order to see God. I know how to be forgiven in just seconds. A person may only have minutes and maybe a few hours like the thief on the cross to make a decision for accepting Jesus into their life. Jesus said to that thief on the cross “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” At that point in that man’s life, I’m sure Jesus words were music to his ears and great news for his soul.

 
BUT WHAT IF YOU DIE INSTANTLY?

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. That is it for you! No time to repent! You die spiritually for eternity! God never wanted that to happen to His creations! The Holy Spirit has been trying to contact you your whole life to get you to open your heart and mind to accept Jesus sacrifice for your original sin. This is so that you could be presented before His very Holy Father God. There is no other way to God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 
In my near death experience, I had already accepted Jesus to be my Savior. But when the reality that I might be leaving this life became real to me… I felt the presence of God in those moments and I felt an awareness of my own soul like never before. I felt God’s perfection and I felt my own imperfection and humanity. There was a distinct difference in that moment. Imminent death is no joke!!!!

 
In our world today people are being plucked out of here so quickly that it’s scary. Tsunami’s, floods, hurricanes, tornados, volcanos, typhoons, lightning strikes, sinkholes, structure collapses, mass killings, fires, accidents, random attacks, bombings are coming so frequently that everyone knows something has changed and that tragedies have accelerated in our world. But scarier than any of these horrible things is what happens right after we die physically? It’s something that you want to make absolutely sure that you have the correct information.

 
Many people don’t believe in hell at all. Some people think that everyone who dies goes to heaven. How can one be sure about all this religious stuff? The universe and the planets didn’t just appear out of thin air. When you look up in the sky on a clear day and see the beautiful white puffy clouds and the blue sky and you know that just beyond that there is no oxygen and it’s black and cold. You have to ask yourself how is it possible that this planet is sustained like this and no other planets are in this solar system. It’s simply too amazing!!!!

 
I have a very rare and complex medical condition called Periodic Paralysis. It’s an autosomal dominant channelopathy disorder. It’s the movement of sodium and potassium ions from one side of the muscle membrane to the other creates an electrical current. For the muscles to work properly these ions must be kept in the correct ratio both inside and outside the cell. In periodic paralysis the ion channels fail to regulate the flow of ions properly when potassium levels in the blood fluctuate. The ratios of sodium and potassium inside and outside the cell become unbalanced. The muscle responds less when asked to move, which is felt as weakness. If the imbalance becomes pronounced the muscle quits responding at all, i.e. becomes paralyzed. Complicated huh?

 
The reason I share this is because it shows just how complex and unique the human body is. When I use too much energy, eat too much carbohydrates, get sick, take certain medications or skip a meal, my delicate metabolic balance goes awry and causes extreme weakness of any muscle in my body and can even cause paralysis and death. There are so many systems in the body and each one is run by a delicate balance and if something is a little off…bam! One being is responsible for this and He’s the creator of all life. God is responsible for designing our unbelievably complex bodies. (Adam, Eve and the satan are responsible for illnesses.)

 
So in God’s creative mind He decided to make humans and we would be very special to God over His other created beings. But because of His holiness and Him being so set apart from humans, He came up with a great plan to accomplish the ability to adopt us. He sent the 3rd person of His unique Godness. (yes I made up that word) Because of His love would for His Creations He humble Himself and become a lowly man. He ALLOWED Himself to be humiliated, tortured and eventually murdered so that we could live with Him FOREVER. Jesus did that so someone could say that 10 second prayer if they were unsaved needed to repent quickly!!!

 
Why did I become a Christian in the first place…what inspired me to believe in God? My parents were the ones who introduced me to the idea of God. Once I understood that there was a God I already felt that He was a part of my life but I kept Him on the outside. One day when I was a teenager I was watching Billy Graham on TV and I heard that I was a sinner and I learned just how much Jesus loved me. This message touched me so much that I understood the message, repent of my sins and accepted Jesus as my Savior. I strayed away from my Christianity as I grew into adulthood. Then In 1984 I became a committed Christian. Why? Because God had just given me the greatest miracle of my life. He healed me of totally of depression and suicidal attempts. It was a miraculous healing I am so grateful to God for healing my mind!

 
This blog is very long today because I am very concern about the tragic and fast rate that people are dying these days. Some may never even get to pray the 10 seconds because in one second they’re here and the next second they’re gone. They had NO opportunity to make sure that they made the RIGHT decision for their eternal life. I know I’m saved. I could keep my mouth shut and just die happy…but my loved ones, your loved ones need to hear the good news of the gospel!!! You only get one chance to get it right. Hebrew 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,  After you die your decision is right there. People who don’t believe that Jesus is the way to heaven and people who don’t believe in any God at all get so angry when a Christian tries to share their faith. But why in the world would I endure their harsh words, criticism and sometime anger towards me. I don’t want to go through that…who would? But I do it because I really care others and Jesus asked me to share His good news with others.

 
If you’re saved…save others! Be a light that will be a beacon for other souls! Be salty so that others can taste and see that God is good! Let God use you! Be available for His service. There is NOTHING that we can give an almighty power being like God. But we can use ourselves to be a servant and let Him use us to build His kingdom. My heart wants to do this for Him. He’s done so much for me!!! He’s given me eternity. The least I can do for Him is to give Him my humble service.
