Good day….In this new year of 2013 I feel for a season maybe a week or months…I don’t know…that I have messages from the Lord to share with you. I don’t know what…I’m just going to let God be God and have His say for forever how long He leads me this way.
Today He told me to give you this scripture:
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
Tell my children…if they seek me I will be there! Tell them this year I will be waiting to hear from them. I want to know everything about them…what’s in their heart….what their needs are….how they are feeling…tell me about your joys….your disappointments….everything. I want to spend time with you. I am here for you in every way. I don’t want to be your sometime God in your life…but I want to be….your best friend….one you can depend on at all times, every single minute of every single day.
Seek me early and I’ll be waiting there with my grace and mercy ready to minister your spirit. Seek me all day as I’m available to you all day. I want to rock you to sleep in my loving caring arms so seek me at night. I want to make your sleep sweet and comforting. Many of you have trouble sleeping because of all the stress taking over your daily lives. That’s what I’m here for…to take over your daily life. You can depend on me to take care of you.
Seek me…look for me….call on me…..I’m already there! I love you so much! From Your Father in Heaven.

Tanya, seeking the Lord, FIRST in everything, is something I have been diligently working on since the end of last year. I have been stepping it up since the start of the year. Too many times over the years, I have sought input and advice without even going to God first. Oftentimes, discussing BEFORE going to God and THEN seeking Him afterwards.
I remember a couple of years ago, when I had not been having my regular devotional times with the Lord, and I was going through a very dry season. I was busy mopping the kitchen floor and the still small voice of the Lord, whispered to me,so clearly, “I miss my time with you”. Tanya, I was so sad. I just stood to the spot for a while, thinking of how I had neglected my creator.
God loves us soooo much and He wants the best for us, but sometimes we settle for second best and forget that He is not just close to us. He is within us – we need to be ‘God inside-me minded’. He yearns to be involved in every aspect of our lives, if only we would let Him.
It has taken a little time, but I now seek Him on many things in my life, no matter how trivia. As I do so, my ears are more attuned and alert to His still small voice.
Father, God, thank you for speaking to us through our sister Tanya. Amen

Tanya, have you ever thought about writing a devotional? One of these upbeat and hopeful messages from God, or even a kick-in-the-pants when that’s warranted? I regularly start my day with His Word — but so many don’t. Perhaps they feel they don’t have time, perhaps they don’t believe they understand it. But your message comes across loud and clear — it’s beautiful!

It’s funny you should say that…my husband told me a year ago to take my blog and make a devotional book. In fact that’s how it aIl started for me with the messages. I bought a book of messages a woman wrote from God for herself and That’s how it all started for me. I used her messages to give to others…but then God gave me messages for others. I didn’t realize this until you writing this to me made me think about it. That was over 20 years ago now. Thank you for encouraging me. I’ve written a book two years ago about the dreams and vistions I’ve had. It needs to be edited and my husband just got a price to publish a book and promote it is $10,000….sooo looks like well…it’s a dream for now.

This is a awesome word!!, How encouraging to know that Jesus wants to be our everything. I’ve been struggling with sleep for awhile, I’ve gone through some very tough situations that have been very damaging to me emotionally. However, I know my redeemer lives and he is going to strengthen me, lift me up out of this horrible pit. I just have to believe that he is going to do it for me. Amen

Lorie….I hear the word “lessons”….God is doing an awesome work in your life. He is molding you, purifying you, redesigning you, and you will come out bright and shiney. Take the yoke of Jesus and let Him carry your pain and suffering…let Him give you rest. Let Him make you sit by the green pastures. Let Him give you peace that passes all our understanding of things.
This year may start out a little rough…but I tell you that you will have victories. This is the year of promises for Gods children. Know the word and be blessed by the word. Close your eyes and hold your hands out and say….bless me Father God…. and then expect it. Make sure your life is committed and submitted to His will and way and you will be blessed!!
