Psalms 119: 1-8
Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart—
3 they do no wrong
but follow his ways.
4 You have laid down precepts
that are to be fully obeyed.
5 Oh, that my ways were steadfast
in obeying your decrees!
6 Then I would not be put to shame
when I consider all your commands.
7 I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws.
8 I will obey your decrees;
do not utterly forsake me.
I was talking to my husband about the condition of our country and they way things are heading. Even some of Gods people are acting like the world in their speech, attire and behavior. I told my husband that the bible is clear about how we should conduct our lives. I said to him…”didn’t they get the memo?” God’s word…the Holy Bible is very clear on how we are to live our lives…what we should do and what we should not do….how we are to behave and what God expects of us.
Just because things are more acceptable now doesn’t mean that we can go along with it. God expects us to follow the principles HE set up in His word and He gave us the Holy Spirit to instruct us and guide us into the truth of His word. If we didn’t get the memo on how to live…then we didn’t read the memos. The bible is filled with memos. Memo is short for memorandum which means a communication that contains directive, advisory, or informative matter. It is notes or records made for future use.
We all did get the memo…but it’s up to each one of us to follow each and everything God told us to do and to obey. Will we always get everything right? No…we are human…but if we follow the Holy Spirits lead…we can and will be able to submit to the will of God and be obedient. Even when we fall short…because of Jesus Christ…we can be forgiven. The memo is down here on earth for all to read and follow. Did we get the memo and put it in a draw and forgot about it? This is why we need to daily check it out. We need to read and study the memos so that we can…walk our walk in Christ. Hide these memos in your heart and mind so that when you are living your life…you can remember those memos and …do the right thing. Did you get the ….memo?

I don’t know how many people, Christians included, have told me that times have changed and that things are not the way they used to be and that the Bible is old-fashioned and irrelevant. They also use the ‘free-will’ argument to justify their lifestyle. Times may change here on earth because people want them to change, but God never changes, nor do His ‘memos’ I enjoyed this Tanya.

Drusilla….you speak truth. I have just had a big message from the Lord which HE hasn’t given me the OK to share…but I can say this because everyone see’s that things have changed in the form of danger. Those who are not surrendering are in grave danger from the enemy. We must pray for the unsaved and the backslidden.
The bible said a lot about the “false teacher/prophets. It’s happening and it’s scaring to thing how people are being led away from the truth of God’s word.
The Bereans had it right!!!!!!!!! That scripture about them that I learn early in my walk with God has been a blessing to my spiritual life and soul.
We need to stick with the bible and learn to follow it guided by the Holy Spirit. We need to have discernment and know when we hear something that doesn’t line up with the word of God. We need to be bold and brave to stand up for truth. I love good bible teachers…my husband is one….but….check everything you hear with the bible. That’s is our responsibility alone.
