Psalm 19:1-2
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
Oh my goodness!…God put His whole creative artwork in the sky and have some not recognized His handiwork? How can that be possible because who could have made such breathtaking beauty and unspeakable detail but God?
I remember being taught in school that the early inhabitants of the earth thought the earth was flat. The were convinced of that. Over time they figured out they were wrong. Many people believe there is no God. I look up into the sky day and night and I think…”Oh my God!…incredible!!!”
Tonight my husband and I are going to attend a very large prayer meeting for God to have mercy on us. I’ve been asked to pray for souls to know Jesus Christ. This has been my hearts cry ever since I became a committed Christian in 1984. Maybe it’s hard for some to see God in the beauty of this earth…but I’m committed to praying for unsaved souls to know the truth, to hear the good news…to repent, believe in Jesus and receive the gift from God of eternal life. I’m also committed to being much more active in evangelism. Just my thoughts for today.

Thank you for your thoughful response. Today is another tough one and I pray I am blessed that I can still walk though it is very hard. Dawned on me today my arms are getting very stiff hard to move them use them. I am aspirating my stomach acids I have a very rapidly preogressing form of Parkinson’s and at 47 the realization I am worsening is not as bad as the fear of fatal complications and I have had some already but have survived. Pray for the sick as I pray for everyone who is just like me in a situation where medical science cannot do much for I pray I believe I know I will somehow outlive the grim prognosis I simply will fight and won’t let my life be over because I have much more living left to do. I love you Lord Jesus and thank you for always sustaining me through the worst of times in my life. Amen

I was not a believer until my elderly mother was completely healed in January of this year of chronic kidney disease and of 2 strokes in May. That definitely convinced me the odds were NOT in favor but as a strong believer she was healed only a little weakness in her left leg. I developed Parkinson’s at a young age and am battling this terrible disease in my 40s but I believe that ALL things are possible with the Lord Jesus Christ I am saved and will be healed. Thank you for this beautiful and inspirational blog may the Lord be with you all! Amen

Amen, precious sister in Christ! I also wonder how people can look around at what God has done and not understand that only God can create such marvels. I pray for more people to have open eyes and ears so they can see and hear what the heavens proclaim and the skies declare, and come to the knowledge of the truth and repent, and as you said, receive God’s gift of eternal life. Keep praying and working and know that you’re making a mighty difference for the kingdom of God. May you be more and more blessed day by day.
