God Speaks I Listen

Mark 4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

With all that has been going on in our world I hear this cry from God’s children…” Master, carest thou not that we perish?”

Many are crying out for relief from their suffering. Some have drowned their sorrows with drugs and alcohol. Some can’t deal with it and are very fearful and depressed. Many people are confused. A large number of people have abandoned the faith. Some have even taken their own life. People who are evil are doing the most despicable things. Even this plant earth is going through severe decay due to earthquakes, strange weather patterns, pollution and fires.

Last week many lives were lost and so many homes were destroyed by hurricanes, floods, tornados and fires. Today were are waiting to see the results from 2 back to back hurricanes. Many homes and lives were also lost this week from a horrible earthquake. There are also the threats of bombs and wars. There is genocide going on right now. The treat of terrorist attacks are looming over us and so on.

I personally have many issues/trials going on in my life as I’m sure all of you do too. “Lord carest not that we perish?”

This is truly a lot to take in for sure. Please read these very important scripture verses and think about how sin and worldwide suffering came on man and on the earth as a result of Adams disobedience. His disobedience caused a chain reaction of events which is why we are experiencing so much pain and destruction all around us and in our lives:

Romans 8:18-23 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. ¹⁹ For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. ²⁰ For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope ²¹ that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

Everything on this earth was affected by sin. Jesus came to make things right and He was completely successful but we and this planet are in a state of decay until God’s glory will be revealed. We’ll have new bodies and there will be a new heaven and a new earth one day. The power and majesty of God will be revealed through our redemption!! Glory to God!!!

You know when I was in labor, it hurt very very bad….but those last 20 minutes just before getting that baby out ramped up even more to be the worse pain eve!!!! I believe this is going on in this world right now. If you are a child of God you will not be affected by all this pain one day in your future. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4

But for right now life is sure hurting really bad for many people. When the trials, suffering, pain, bad stuff comes, we just have to go through it. That is a fact and it is life. God even warned us about this.

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

My thoughts on this present suffering:

I predicted in a past blog many years ago that very difficult things are going to happen. It’s been hard for me to tell people what I heard during one of my prayer times. After 9/11 all the religious houses of worship from every religion were packed out. People wanted answers and many were very afraid. Unfortunately all that fear and inquiry wore off. These new crisis I believe will again cause people to think about their souls, safety, wealth, health, family, mortality and spirituality. Suffering and fear cause this kind of reaction in people.

Would God allow this? Well there are a few examples of how God dealt with disobedience in the past.

Genesis 6: 11-13 God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. 13Then God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

Genesis 19:24 Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven,

I say all the time that….”God don’t play!!!!!!” God is not a joke or some old school myth. He didn’t play with folks in the past and He’s not playing with folks now. He said for us to be Holy Because He is Holy. That means set yourself apart from the world and be obedient to Him and live right. There are consequences for our disobedience.

Even Jesus got really upset with the sinfulness of man when he was here on earth.

John 2:15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. Jesus was NOT a happy camper!!!

God don’t play and Jesus don’t play either! Now don’t even think about messing with the Holy Spirit.

God’s children have been having “revivals” trying to get people reenergized and to get the unsaved in Church but I tell you God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have their own plans for their creations and it’s in full swing.

What is the answer and what can we do? God told me Tanya Nemley this….”Do what I have asked you to do. Stay focused. Don’t look all around at what others are doing or not doing. Do what I told you to do.”

Every one of God’s children have a job to do. It all has to do with building His kingdom.

God will give favor to His obedient children and will be there when we call out to Him! We will still go through things but I can tell you from personal, past and recent experiences that God has been there for me and provided me a way out!!! An example…my family was affected by hurricane Sandy. We were flooded and lost a lot. God restored EVERYTHING! I had cancer and had to have a few operations but I tell you God was right there helping me through the whole thing! Yeah I had some pain but the strength and healing God gave me was amazing. I’ve had the worst financial trials but God saw me through that!!! In my first marriage I suffered extreme violence and almost lost my life…BUT GOD!!!!! I’m here to speak of His goodness. God bought me out of that mess!!!

You may not understand all that’s going on around the world and in your life. But understand this….God is amazing and He is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week…365 days a year!!! He will help you through WHATEVER you are going through!!!! I’m not lying. The bible says so!! (Make sure there is no sin or unforgiveness in your life. God does not bless mess!)

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

I know that life is really hard for many of my brothers and sisters in Christ right now. I know many of you are crying out to Father God for Help. That is the thing to do. (1 Peter 5:7) Fear not! Trust God to see you through your circumstance.

I want to pray for you:

Dear powerful and almighty Father God,

I’m Praying for (add your name here) right now. Father you know what they are going through. You have seen their tears and you have heard their cries. You know their fears and the aching in their heart. I know you have so much love and compassion for them right now. Jesus your own son is very well acquainted with extreme pain and very difficult trials. He knows how it feels to go without food, be on a stormy sea, to lose a friend, to be persecuted and to have people turn on Him. So God I know you know how it feels to go through these things. Help (your name) to keep their mind on you because I know that if they do they will have perfect peace. Please help them get well acquainted with you and your amazing grace. Remove the fear that’s hiding in their heart and replace it with the knowledge of memorized scripture reminding them of your great faithfulness. That home that is flooded, lost, damaged, the child that was lost, the wife/husband that passed away, the job that was lost, the health that is declining, the money that is needed, the mental anguish that plagues their mind and all the other sufferings that is plaguing your child….Help them please. For those who have not spoken to you in a while or are angry at you, forgive them and have mercy. For the one who really needs a hug from you…let them feel your presence.   Father God…we all need you right now. Please help us so that through our victory and blessings we may give you all the praise and bring glory to your name. I ask these things in Jesus name Amen.

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Mark 4:40  He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

[To those who have never asked Jesus to be their Lord and Savior…I pray that you can see the signs of the times and believe in Jesus so that you may have help available for you in times of trouble and the greatest thing…eternal life in heaven with God. Time is truly running out.]
