James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from beingpolluted by the world.

Polluted means…contaminated, dirty, soiled, messed up, stained, corrupted, polluted, fouled up, trashed, tainted, infected, not suitable for use, and impure.

This summer I bought a dress that I saw all the TV anchors wearing everyday and when I put it on the Holy Spirit let me know… “uh ah”.  Then another day I bought a few pairs of pants/leggings that everyone is wearing and I even had on a long shirt with it…but the Holy Spirit in me said “uh ah”. So I thought I could wear it under a skirt and I got the OK in my spirit.

I put this out there not to have you all up in my business with me and my God…but to let…

Oops….Shouldn’t this be our Father which art in heaven? Many people ask questions on Google and find their way to my blog…and that’s great. Some people do bible searches(like me) and some people need help. God is available to answer questions and is more available than Google.

Two of my most viewed blogs are “I’m going to kill myself and I am so stupid.”  I entitled it that way to draw people to my blog who are suffering in those areas so that I can share the Good News of hope which is Jesus Christ.  On my blog I’m able to see what people Google to get to my blog and it’s surprising to see so many people seeking God and answers to their lives through Google.

There are a lot of good spiritual resources out there.   There is also a lot of very bad religious advice and false biblical doctrine too. …

You cannot fist bump God! My meaning of this is not to get too familiar with God in a disrespectful way. When I hear people say…oh my god…..god dam you….the big guy upstairs…..it makes me sad to think people have such little respect for His Holy name. I…

Facebook…facebook…that’s all you hear about these days. Everybody has a facebook account including me. I use facebook to see my adult children and grandchild’s picture. I also have my blog posted on there too. It does have its benefits. At first I didn’t want to join facebook…it just wasn’t that important to me…but my children made me sign up so I crumbled under the pressure and have joined 750,000,000 million followers.

I also joined My Space and Twitter but I can only handle one network at a time…I’m doing all I can to keep up with my facebook page…making sure I’ve got my privacy settings in place and all….”Cuz I don’t want nobody all up…

Many people have asked this question and many people have written books, have had seminars and preached on this topic. Why, how, what, when…… what more can I say about it? Have you read my blog about Kissing the feet of Jesus? I’ve shared my heart about my prayer life……yet I still feel I have something more to say.

I’m going to say something shocking here…….Prayer is not complicated!! Ok that wasn’t really that shocking but I wanted to get your attention. To tell you the truth….How to pray is a weird question to me….it’s like asking how to love….how to eat…..how to breath?

When I fell in love for the very first time in junior high school I just knew how to love…it came natural. I feel when you fall in love with the Lord talking to Him should be so natural……oh you say…..Fall in love with the Lord?…

Sometimes I think I almost push God to this point….But I know my foolishness doesn’t affect Him that way. God is patient, kind and understanding.

If God was here on earth in the midst of a very difficult trial in my life I would shake His shoulders, jump up and down and just start screaming to the top of my lungs until He would have to slap me silly.

Bed beating with a broom…doesn’t really help!

I have done something this….let me share my crazy testimony.  In 2002 I had been suffering with an illness for about 3 years that was undiagnosed at the time and I was having horrible debilitating stroke-like episodes.  I was at my wit’s end because things were getting worse and I was waiting to be healed…like yesterday!   One day I just exploded in prayer to God.  I was trying to sweep my little daughters room…

It’s 6 am and as soon as I started to seek the Lord I realize I’m feeling happy in my spirit. As singer James Brown says in one of his most famous songs “I feel Good”.  How can this be?  This morning I have a painful sinus infection so I’ll be seeing my doctor today, I suffer daily with many medical conditions and have to take a lot of medication, I’ve had past financial catastrophes that are still hanging over my head,, my mom just passed in February of this year, my car is 14 years old…and on and on…. need I say more.

But despite all this I AM HAPPY!!! Why, how can this be?  I have put my trust in God and He has given me His peace and strength. I live off of His daily mercies and I’m filled with His amazing grace.
