Catastrophes are unfortunately are part of human life. Why? Because of evil…and the devil’s influence in people’s minds. He is 100% responsible for all evil acts. People who do these things made a decision to do these evil things.  Yes… even the natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornado’s, etc… are the devils evil works. Before Adam and Eve sinned…there wasn’t any natural disasters.

When these things happen…many people struggle with the horror of an act like this….and today we are all dealing with… why this 24-year-old man would shoot so many people he didn’t know.

I can tell you for sure that nobody on this earth has the answer to why was this or any other previous terrible events were allowed to happen. We only know the devil is at the bottom of it all. Only God knows all the details and we will know these answers when we make our transition to our eternal life.

So how are we suppose to deal with this? First we must pray for all the victims and their families. We should also pray for souls to be saved and we should be actively sharing our faith with others. We should pray for people who were affected by this shooting and the fear and terror that something like this may brings on our children and others.

We who are Christians should not be terrorized by fear because we know that the Lord will be with us and help us out of difficult situations. Even if the situation would take our life …we know we will be with our Lord.

I’m concerned about what can happen to me in this world…but I know that God doesn’t want me to be fearful and living in a state of anxiety. We Christians have the Holy Spirit living inside of us and He has and will help us to get through the most difficult things this life may bring.

I have something very important to say to you today…..put this statement in your spirit….”FEAR NOT”!!!

Don’t be fearful about anything in your life….what is happening, what has happened or what may happen. Keep your eyes on Jesus!! Trust Him! Pray and read the scriptures! I’m going to give you one of many great scriptures from Gods word on fear:

Psalm 27:1-5

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation —
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.

3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.

4 One thing I ask from the LORD,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

5 For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.

Message for today: I’m sure that this shooting won’t be the last and that there are more natural disasters to come. I can tell you for sure that God will provide a way through things and He will provide a way out. These horrific things happen once in a while….while every minute of everyday there are millions of miracles from the Lord. Many healings, near misses and many rescues are happening as you read this. God is a good God. Let’s just trust that He knows what He doing. Spending time questioning things produces stress and doubt. To survive our world one must….pray, study the bible, walk with God and trust Him. I guarantee you that if you do these 4 things you’ll make it to the end….billions of others already have.

The spirit world is real!

Last week I felt that the Lord wanted me to share with you about spiritual warfare. This past Sunday in church my pastor spoke about spiritual warfare and he even used the same scripture I‘m going to use.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

I posted a video on You Tube called…God is real, my testimony.  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_xOxbh9CuA) I went to other people’s post to post my video on their page. Many of the videos I tried to post on were atheist post. I listened to many of them as they told their testimonies on why God is not real. Some of them were very convincing. After doing this everyday last week….I felt the deceiving spirits trying to convince me that God is not real…it has been a very real and powerful experience. The spirit world is nothing to joke around with!

I have a very sensitive spirit to the things of God….but I can also sense things in the demonic world also. I’ve only experienced this very strongly a few times over the years since I became a committed Christian. God has let me experience this so I know how and what to pray for. I’m glad to have experienced this because it lets me know that just like I have experienced many visions and heavenly things…I also know that evil is very real and so is hell.

I can continue and explain more on what I’ve seen and what I know about this part of the spirit world…but I have other important things to bring to light.

1. Don’t play around with the spirit world, don’t hang around in the devils play ground! When you do… the Holy Spirit will tap into your spirit and give you an uneasy feeling that you should not be involved with that activity. Listen out for His lead.  Don’t be involved with things like horoscopes, horror movies, and witchcraft. Don’t be involved with anything that glorifies evil and  anything contrary to God’s word or something you know God wouldn’t approve of.

2. Walk in the spirit 24/7. Be very involved with the Holy Spirit and follow His guidance.

3. Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and speak in tongues very often to yourself.

4. Praise God often.

5. Pray without ceasing.

6. Use the discernment God has given you. Have spiritual ears.

7. Keep reminding yourself that Jesus has already won the battle! We have the victory! Follow the principals God has given us in His word. Come boldly to the throne room and let your request be made known to our God. Pray in Jesus name….there is real supernatural power in His name.

8. Know what the bible says about spiritual warfare and make sure you are prepared at all times. Know your bible!! Know the scriptures!!

9. Know who you are in Christ and know who God is.

10. Have no fear.

A final scripture verse I want to leave with you is:

1 John 4:4 But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. (NLT)

Message for today: Let’s be smart; stay alert, be careful and wise.

P.S. Don’t spend a lot of time concentrating on the devil’s mess…spend more time seeking after God!

Look around and see the signs of the times. Things are changing on this earth before our eyes. Every area of human life has been affected by some change. A SHIFT on earth is occurring. Some can hardly catch their breath as you watch the news and the daily sad worldwide and local news stories are revealed. A shift is occurring.

I posted a message given to me by the Lord in 2008 about coming events on one of my blogs. While in prayer last week…the Lord told me that things in the future are going to be more difficult. We are in these trying times for the long haul.

The Holy Spirit is doing a tremendous amount of work in people’s lives according to the Lords plans. We are going to see a major shift in the spiritual climate. Those who are seeking truth and want a closer walk with God will grow. Those who will spread the gospel and stand up for truth will do so boldly. The weak will be very strong and a light that points others to Christ.

False teachers have and will continue to be exposed. Those who know God’s word and understand truth will be mighty soldiers for the Lord. The living waters from truth will put out the fires of the false prophets.

The Lord wants those who are His to…Pray and walk with Him, read and study the word, commit to serving the Him, spread the gospel, Love others, worship Him and thank Him for all He does and has done for you.

The Lord said to tell you that you are Safe in His arms through everything that is going on. If you need to…. read Psalm 23 & 27 over and over until it brings understanding and peace to your soul. Trust in God!

This information today is not to scare anybody. Everyone can see for themselves what has been going on and one has to know that or have their own feelings and know that there has been a shift. This is not time to be scared…but a time to PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD like you never have before. Start putting God first now and don’t wait for things to happen and then coming running to Him in your distress. Worship Him …get closer to Him now.

I feel the shift and I’m responding to it and sounding the alarm that the Lord is speaking….and those who have spiritual ears will hear what the spirit is saying to each person. Don’t just take my word for it or think I’m off my rocker….but pray…ask God what is going on. He will reveal His plans and heart to you. I pray that you are in that place you need to be with Him….in Jesus name…Amen.

Crab Trap

Psalms 119:110 The wicked have set their traps for me, but I will not turn from your commandments. (NLT)

I bought my father a large crap trap with double trap doors for Father’s Day. I knew he wanted one and the day after father’s Day…he caught a big batch of crabs in that trap. I kinda felt sorry for them…they thought they were getting some food, but after they got in that trap…they couldn’t get out. The enemy has traps set out for us too. He wants to catch us up in mess. He knows what tripped us up in our past and he’ll even set up some new ones for us. Unlike those poor crabs…we can get out of the traps that have been set out for us.

 

 

I have someone in my life that see’s those traps and connects with my mind to warn me of them. He uses my knowledge of the word of God and I can feel His warnings of danger ahead. This person in my life is….”The Holy Spirit”! I’m so grateful to God that the Holy Spirit lives inside of me and interacts with me all day every day. I try to always have my ears perked up to hear what He is saying to me.

I don’t always accomplish this…because…I am human, and sometime to my total dismay…my flesh, my short comings are exposed and I step into one of those traps that the enemy has set out for me. But thankfully the Holy Spirit is there speaking truth to me and I catch on to my sin and ask Jesus to forgive me and Jesus washing me clean. I hate those traps…but they are out there and even when I get caught in one…God uses that as a teachable moment and I gleam what I can from the experience.

I’m careful not to wallow in guilt and just move on. I make a bigger effort to stay in the word of God and walk in the spirit….and of course…Have on my amour because of the plots and the warfare against me. Thank you Holy Spirit for all your guidance, protection, instruction, love and companionship!!! I love you!

Message for today: Don’t be in fear of the traps from the devil but….make sure you are close with the one who protects you from them and warns you….”The Holy Spirit”!!!!! Our God is an awesome God who thought of everything for our protection and care! All praises go to God our Father! Thank you Jesus for making all of this possible!

 

Satan uses many types of traps for us and many different temptations such as money,drugs,stealing etc. But watch out for the small, sneaky and subtle traps that lead you into….sinning!

My eyes are wet with tears of intercession….my heart is greatly burdened…my mind is filled with thoughts of loss souls and I’m grateful that God has heard my pleas for mercy for the unsaved.  I’m thankful for the Holy Spirit who is very busy wooing those prayed for souls.  I have to go because…I need to get back to interceding for souls…oh Lord oh Lord have mercy!  Forgive us Lord! My God my God……….Jesus Jesus Jesus……

I’m listening to Him and relying on His strength to get me through my day. I thank God for Him being in my life 24/7. I can’t make it without His help and encouragement. He reveals the truth of God’s word to me and keeps reminding me of it. My Paraclete keep me on track and keeps me on target. I remind myself that I’m never alone because I have Him in my life. I feel so blessed and protected.

At my age of 59…I’ve learned to rely on Him more and more. I found out that I don’t always know what to do… but He does. He knows my pain and my weaknesses. Even when I’m too overwhelmed to pray for myself… He can talk to God on my behalf. I don’t even have to speak words. I can cry and or be in some type of pain and He can interpret my cry to God because He lives inside of me and knows what needs to be said to God on my behalf. My Paraclete is awesome!!! I love Him so. He keeps me in a good place with the Lord. He’s even given me a special language that is only known to God.

When I pray in that language I feel strengthened in my spiritman. I’ve had some really difficult times in my life and I tell you my Paraclete was right there…He was hovering all over me with this unusual odd feeling of extreme comfort. It’s hard to explain this phenomenon. All I know is that a large amount of comfort and peace enveloped me and I made it through those extremely difficult circumstances.

So today….I’m having an involved time of interaction with my Paraclete because… I want to have special intimacy with God the Father and God the Son. Every day I want to know God more and more. I hunger after Him with all my heart. I need this as a human being….I need this as His child….I need this as a Christian….I need this as a person who has life’s challenges almost every minute of my day….I need it because I love God so so much.

Paraclete is one who comforts, encourages, counsels, and advocates on one’s behalf. My Paraclete is the Holy Spirit of God. If you are a born again Christian…you too have a paraclete that is your constant companion 24/7. Your mortal body contains Him inside of it. He speaks to your mind and your heart. Listen to Him and look out for His gentle guidance. Don’t get on His nerves because you can grieve Him when you ignore His direction and guidance. He wants the best for you!

I have to go now so I can be involved with my Paraclete……..

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16

This weekend I dressed up as a clown for my church’s health fair.  I may not look very spiritual in this costume….but I tell you God was in this!  He gave me the skills to make my outfit, He gave me the physical strength to do this for hours that day, and the kids had a great time.

I want God to use me anyway He see’s fit even if it entails me wearing a clown costume.  I want my light to shine and my heart to express the joy I have for my Lord.  Laughter is very good …Hee! Hee! Have a blessed and joyful day!

This has been an amazing year for me as the Lord has revealed Himself to me through writing my blog which entailed a lot of reading His word. My blog has also reminded me of all the great things God has done in my life. I’ve met many new friends that are very special to me.

You all have encouraged me so much…especially on the secret down days that I didn’t feel like writing anymore because I thought my blogging wasn’t very good or I was tired because it takes me so long to write one one blog.

I feel the Lord is going to take me into a new season soon and I can use your prayers. I’ll continue to blog as the Lord leads. Thanks you so much to all my faithful readers and followers. May the Lord bless you and meet all of your needs physically and spiritually.

Knowing God

I’m living my very last days of my 50’s as I’ll be 60 years old on July 27, 2012. As I was meditating on my life this week and thanking God for all He’s done for me…I realized that …..I KNOW GOD!! I KNOW WHO He is, where He is, what He’s done for me through His Son Jesus. I know what He expects of me, I know how much HE loves me. I know how He thinks and operates. I know how to go about questioning Him….I know if He’s angry. I hear when He calls me and I trust when He’s silent. I really know Him. We’ve had a lot of years together now.

Do I know Him 100%? No way! Knowing God has also let me be not as fearful about my life. I know He’ll be there for me…even if I don’t feel Him doing stuff. I don’t go by my feelings…I go by what I know!! I know what the bible says and what the Holy Spirit has confirmed in me. The truth has indeed has set me free.

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

2 Peter 2:1 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

Message for today: Strive as hard as humanly possible to get to know God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is the secret of growing spiritually and having an abundant life while we are here on earth.

This little girl is getting to KNOW God! This is what we should do to KNOW Him.
