Mathew 27: 45-50
45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).
47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”
48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. 49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”
50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
If you have sin in your life and have not accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior God cannot look on you. He has to turn His back on you. Because of His holiness He CANNOT look on sin. When you die and you find out that you did not make it to heaven…you might say this:
God, God, why have you forsaken me?”
And then you might:
Cry out in a loud voice.
As I was reading the account of Jesus death….I was stuck at the effects of God not being able to look at Jesus Christ as He took our horrible sins on to Himself. God cannot look on sin. The results of sin is death and Jesus removed spiritual death from anyone who would turn from their sin and accept Him as their Savior.
He was at His last minutes of life after being tortured for days and hanging on a cross for hours and He should have had no strength to yell because of physically weakened condition….but after He asked God why He had forsaken Him….after God looked away from Him so He could carry our sins….He yelled really loud. I can’t say for sure but the thought of God turning away would probably make one scream out in sheer agony! WHO WOULD WANT TO BE WITHOUT GOD FOR EVEN A SECOND!!!!!!!!! Not even Jesus!
The second after the unsaved die….I know they will scream out in sheer agony when they realize the terror they face forever because they didn’t make the right choice when they had the chance.
This is my true purpose for writing my blog, this is what I pray for and cry before the Lord. I pray for my unsaved loved ones and friends. I pray for your loved ones and friends. If you’ve never accepted Jesus…I pray for you too!
I had cancer….I should be dead….but God spared my life…..so I could have fun? make a lot of money? party? be a jet setter?….There is nothing wrong with those things in general….but for me….I want the life I have…dedicated to God and my family…..and spending time pleading for souls who need Jesus.
Of all the religions in the world Christianity is the only one who has a God who became a human and died and came back to life with historical evidence to back up the claims. It’s the only religion that Just the name of our God evokes such anger and hatred. Why so much resistance?
For me Christianity is very real and I feel that’s why people feel threaten by it. If there were no power in it… nobody would be giving it a second thought.
So what can be done about convincing people otherwise? Nothing! People will think what they want…but…The Holy Spirit Is present on earth and He is the one who will attempt to contact that person’s soul or spirit of the truth of the gospel. If we…my fellow Christians are available God will use us to reach them.
So…I don’t want my family members or friends or your family members or friends to cry out in agony because they didn’t make the right choice.
Heavenly Father, Give me the wisdom and discernment to know when you want me to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. Help me to create unique ways to spread the gospel. In Jesus name…Amen

Don’t be scared of the devil!….Jesus kicked His butt!!!…but be vigilant, sharp and on your toes. Pray always!!!
I have not written in sometime now but I feel I must talk about the enemy’s attacks on mankind. There’s so much bad news that I don’t watch it at times because it’s overwhelming. I’ll only mention 2 stories which are horrendous… which is the hundreds of girl captured in Nigeria and the hundreds of Nigerians killed in mass village killings, also the many random mass killings here in the USA.
These things are shocking to me as well as all the other many horrible events happening everyday with constancy now but these events were predicted by God Himself in His word. Please take the time to read the whole scripture at the end of this blog which explains what will happen in the last days.
Things are progressing very quickly now. Even the unsaved are talking about it….so EVERYONE does know something’s up.
Everything is going according to schedule! It’s OK to be shocked by the events taking place but we should not be surprised. We can be appalled by the blatant show of sin but we should not be unschooled about why. We should not be in a state of fear for our safety, security or provision…but we should know that God has given us power, love, and of a sound mind when we walk in the Spirit of God. He’s promised to be our shepherd.
8″Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9″Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. 10″Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.… Matthew 5:8-10
We are too blessed to be stressed!!!
We are to remember the great commission:
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20
We are to do this:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— Ephesians 6:18
Because:
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
We have this promise:
Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2″In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3″If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.… John 14:2
And finally God will:
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
So my dear sisters and brothers….hang in there! It’s a very difficult and scary time because we don’t know if we will be the next news story… but I tell you to continue to walk in the spirit, be brave and remain hopeful because you have Jesus…the good Shepherd in your life. Put on the whole amour of God!!! Jesus was greatly tempted by the devil and viciously attacked by him and eventually put to death and four things that helped Him through it all are:
- He knew the word of God!!!
- He prayed to the Father!!!
- He was obedience to God!!!
- He Trusted God!!!
If you don’t know God like you should or you go to church on Sunday and think that you’ve done your good deed for the week….when the devils plans touches you and your family you could be swept away with fear and anxiety! You will need Prozac or Valium! Delve deeper into the things of God now….don’t wait. Decide today that you will take your faith much more seriously.
You all know I’ve been going through a lot these days and I tell you…I get around now with Jesus holding me in His arms!!! He carries me everywhere! I passed out long ago!!!! Thank you Jesus! Thank you so much!!!!

Please Please Please check out this FREE book on the Attributes of God by A W Pink. You all know how much I want you to know about God…because if you know about Him you WILL be so blessed and encouraged!!! Of course the bible is the #1 place to learn about God…but there are some good materials written by anointed people. As with everything you read…make sure you check the bible for yourself to make sure things line up with the word of God.

Seeing my own inadequacies….my own insufficiency, deficiency, deficits, failures, poverty, inability to bring about success or healing in my life…. has made me see clearly the greatness and majesty of God and it has revealed His holiness and perfection to me. I other words….I need God in and through my life 24/7!!!!!
I have been ill recently in a way that has caused me to seek God in a different way. If you get sick suddenly….you can call out to God and He heals you. When you have chronic illness ….and it last a very long time….and you get one illness that comes on top of others…. it causes you to feel like you are under a pile of bricks and your hand is reaching out from under the rubble waiting for God to rescue you. Sometimes you can stay under that rubble for a long time.
As you feel the weight of the bricks or trials that you know you can’t overcome by yourself…you can become very tired and feel weak.
I heard a story on the news this morning that a woman was trapped in her wrecked car down the side of the road for 6 days. She was without water and had one packet of dried oatmeal. Her feet were crushed. She was asked did she think she was going to die and to the surprise of the reporter she said no. She said everyday she thought she would be rescued and was very hopeful.
That really shocked me this morning that in the face of the worst situation that one must be hopeful!! This attitude or disposition can keep you alive way past your seemingly life threatening situation.
Because of Jesus…I know that I have hope. Not only hope for an eternal life with God but also hope for His help and presence in my life and through every situation every day.
I’ve learned… in suffering with a chronic illness that you cannot lose your will to live. This goes for anyone facing a difficult situation. It takes courage to deal with the difficulties of this life. Some people are natural born fighters and some people can’t handle much. When you are a Christian….God will help anyone who is weak to be strong in Him. Jesus said”Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Mathew 11:28-30.
I’ve been tested long and hard over the years and the battle is still raging. But I have my eye on the prize which for me one day is being in the presence of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost and having God Himself wipe all my tears away. I look forward to my new glorified body that will never again contain any sickness. I look forward to all the love I ever wanted that I will experience in a supernatural way. I look forward to dancing on streets of gold in which I will be crying out my praises to God for all that He has brought me from and praising Jesus Christ for His sacrifice that made it all possible.
My goal now is to praise God, endure the trials, be obedient, and share the gospel. My job now today is to make sure I keep very hopeful like the woman in the car wreck….expecting that help/answered prayer will arrive at any moment. I thank God so much for all the grace, strength and mercy He has blessed me with thus far and I look forward to today’s blessings.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

I AM STARING AT JESUS SO MY SPIRIT MAN CAN SUSTAIN THE ATTACKS OF THE ENEMY. MY MIND IS ON JESUS. HIS WORD IS BURIED IN MY HEART!
I am staring at Jesus. Yes…My eyes are fixed on Him. Not only my eyes but my mind too. It’s the only way that I can stand up, survive, endure, and overcome the attacks from the enemy. I’m very glad for the grace of God and His wonderful mercies that I meet up with first thing in the morning.
I have had some health issue lately and it’s been very difficult to blog. All that I have written about for the past few years is helping me so much now.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand’
“This is what happened to me these past few weeks when I was so scared and in need of help……”
Psalms 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
I’m a living witness God’s blessings….and when I die… I pray that my life will be a testimony of the goodness of Jesus Christ.
Folks…..the gospel of Jesus Christ is real and it is true!!!! Believe you me!!!

God hates it!
Sin………….. is so disgusting and nasty!!! It’s putrid and has a horrid stench!
Psalms 5:4-6
4. You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell.
5. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong.
6. You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the LORD abhors.
Ariel Castro kidnapped, beat, tortured and raped 3 young women for over 10 years. Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer and sex offender, who committed rape, murder, dismemberment and cannibalized 17 men and boys. Brian Stewart was a phlebotomist who injected his son with the HIV virus so he would not have to pay child support and this poor child suffered and died as a result. There are millions of these kinds of heinous crimes and worse in history. These horrific sins and our disgusting and nasty sins…..Jesus died for!!!!!!!
2,000 years ago a man name Jesus came to earth and bore the shame, guilt and pain for something He didn’t do. Jesus bore all that nastiness on Himself to bring us the new covenant, forgiveness, the Holy Spirit and eternal life. Jesus made our connection to our Holy God possible. Jesus made it possible for us to be given grace and mercy.. Because of Him we will never be alone in our earthly life. Jesus has given us………..HOPE!!!! Jesus has given us a…….FUTURE!!!!
I’m so glad Jesus was the propitiation for me!!!!!! And for you!!!!! Propitiation is the turning away of wrath by an offering or satisfying the wrath of God by the atoning sacrifice of Christ.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jesus gave His life for us
I hate sin…I hate sinning and I’m so sorry when I do. I’m so grateful that the original sin (you know Adam and Eve’s the first ones to tick God off with their disobedience resulting in God’s wrath for them and the rest of us) has been removed. God had a plan and a Lamb… named Jesus. Jesus was very successful in taking our punishment and He was the blood offering that was required for our release from eternal damnation. We are free!!! Our debt has been paid!!!

Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

My attitude is trust in Jesus!!!! Depend on God’s grace!!!!
I am not feeling good today. I suffer with chronic illnesses. This is one of those good days bad days things and this is the bad day. As I’m dealing with this suffering today I have one thing on my mind….Jesus. I have one thing in my heart….Gods Grace.
Jesus and grace is what will help me to get through this day.
Please don’t feel sorry for me because I did this 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
These scriptures back me up on this….and I trust God.
Isaiah 26:3You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Life is not easy…but it is much much better when you have your eyes on Jesus!

This true meaning of Resurrection day is:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus torture, death and resurrection services that we celebrate every April is a blessing because it’s a blessing to reflect on the details of this love provoked set of life changing events for the world. But I have a different way that I celebrate it.
This is my opinion and practice and I’m not pushing anyone to do what I do or I think how I think. I celebrate Jesus sacrificial act a few times a week by having communion by myself. I ask God to forgive me of any wrong doing…reflect with scripture and meditate on the course of events. Then I have Juice and bread. I also thank Jesus daily for what He did for me. I thank God for sending His Son to die for my sins.
The more I walk with God…the more grateful I am to Him for creating me, loving me and saving me. The wonder of who God is drives me to think of His deep love for me and why he was motivated to do what He did for me.
You know the other day I was thinking about the Holiness of God and I could not believe that He in all of His glory would humble Himself and allow Himself to be reduced to a human being. To have a human woman take care of Him, to have His diaper changed, to be carried around, and to be taught by human parents. God… the Supernatural Highest supreme being in the entire universe was a man!!!! Then He allowed sinful men to do unspeakable things to Him! He did this for me and for anyone who will believe in His son Jesus. This is something to celebrate every single day! I’m celebrating this in my sanctified soul right now!!!!! I was dead in my sin and now I’m alive in Jesus! I was lost and now am found! I have an eternal life! Praise the Lord!!!
A few years ago Hollywood came out with a movie called the Passion of Christ…which was a graphic dramatization of the events surrounding Christ death and resurrection. It was very powerful and as I left the theater I couldn’t speak. In fact everyone in the theater was silent as they were walking out. I feel that way every time I read the crucifixion details in the bible….there’s no difference because the Holy Spirit makes it that real to me. But these events also make something else real in my heart.. and that is how much God loves His creations. Can Hollywood produce that? The Holy Spirit can!!! Jesus death and resurrection means love to me….I see love.
This is the deal…..God is Holy… God is love… and God is a Spirit. We can’t understand these incredible three things because we are human…but the Holy Spirit can and does enlightens us. Now this is the intriguing part that’s hard for us to get….God’s Holiness is what makes it impossible for us to be in front of God physically. He is way too pure for us. This is what people don’t get. He didn’t make Himself pure…He just is. The Glory in Him would burn anyone up in less than a billionth of a second. But because of His great love for us He had Jesus take on human form and sacrifice Himself to remove all original sin from humanity for anyone who would believe in Jesus Christ. Without Jesus….no one could ever stand before Holy God because they would be impure and in need of a blood offering.
Thank you Jesus!
Jesus the Lamb of God was the blood offering for us. Jesus blood was required!!!!!!!! No other blood! There is NO…I say NO other way to see God face to face when your human life has ended!!!! This is what Resurrection day celebration is all about! This is why I celebrate this as often as I can!! I’m sooooo grateful!!!!! This is the big picture!! You cannot separate the Holiness of God and this event….they are connected.
So Jesus…I get down on my knees and then I fall on my face before you. With your loving sacrificial act in my heart and mind… I kiss your feet and say…thank you so much for what you did for me! Thank you for your obedience to your Father. It saved my life!!! I can’t wait to be with you forever!!! Until then I will keep praying for others. I will write my blog and pray that someone who has not heard of your good news for their lives will read this blog and believe in you.
