A few years ago, I learned that someone I respected as a Christian apologist, Ravi Zacharias was accused of doing some of the most heinous things against women and misused ministry funds. Today I learned of a sin done by Pastor Tony Evans, one of the ministries that has been a great blessing to me. Over the years I know of many famous people in ministry as well as many in my local area who have had moral failures.

Jesus said He didn’t come to judge the world but to save it. Who then does the judging? God! Today’s news really hurts because I had really learned from Pastor Tony Evans’ teachings, and I still believe they were great. Going forward I know it will be a struggle, but I know one thing for sure, I still own a bible and do my own daily bible study, so I’ll be just fine.

A long time ago I went to someone’s church that I had heard things about. I could not concentrate at all on the message. God spoke to me very clearly! “He said, “while you’re looking at that person, I’m looking at your heart, while you’re judging them, I’m judging you!” I will never forget that!!!!

I feel that God has work for me to do and I can’t look back on those who have slipped and fell. But I must finish the work that God has for me to do for His kingdom! I’m going to stay in my lane and be about my Father’s business. I will pray for Pastor Tony Evans, his family, his church and all those who are disheartened by the recent news of his situation.

We all have our assignments from God. Let’s keep going! There are souls to be saved!!! Stay focused on Jesus Christ! Be wise and prayerful.

1 Peter 4:18-19 And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.
