The Holy Spirit is as I have said is the third person in the trinity or the Godhead. I just want to emphasize that the Holy Spirit is His own person… as Jesus is and God is. They each have their own distinct personalities. The Holy Spirit is not to be referred to as…”it” or anything other than who He is. There is God the Father…God the Son…and God the Holy Spirit.
Our God is a very unique being to us humans. He is three persons in one being. He is not three gods but one God.
Please read my archived blog on the trinity https://godspeaks-i-listen.com/2011/07/12/shocking-truth%e2%80%a6god-is-three-persons%e2%80%a6-really/

Glory Be to God. We need the Holy Spirit first because this is how we communicate to the son of God ( Jesus) who communicates to God . The Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf for we are not worthy to see Him or talk for ourselves. So these three high beings operate as one. There is no other way to get to Our Father who art in heaven.

I have never considered the Holy Spirit as anyone other than the third PERSON of the Trinity, but I was challenged recently by a visiting speaker at Church. He used the name “Holy Spirit” without the “the”.
At first it seemed odd, but before long I came to see that saying “Holy Spirit does . . . .” the speaker was personalising him. I would never refer to someone as “The John Brown” or “The Mary Jones” so why should I say “The Holy Spirit”?
Although Holy Spirit has always been real to me as a Person, since dropping the “the” He seems more so. Just a thought.

Anyway that makes it easier to understand and build our relationship with God we should do. The bible calls the Holy Spirit…the…I guess He doesn’t have a formal name. I told my husband I was going to give Him a name…but he said that wasn’t a good idea…so I will concentrate on my relationship with Him and being filled.

Amen Tanya!
If we cannot accept “the Helper” which is the Holy Spirit then how can we accept the Son, Jesus who said He would give us the Helper in John 15:26? And if we cannot accept the Son then How can anyone accept the Father who affirmed and confirmed His son when Jesus was baptized and said:
Matthew 3:17
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
We cannot come before the father except through the Son which is Jesus Christ who is the same Jesus that sent us the Helper who is the Holy Spirit.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
If we deny one of these persons that are and who are God, then we deny them all do we not?
John 15:26
[ The Coming Rejection ] “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
The Trinity is God in three Persons – the blessed Trinity.
Thank you for Helping us remember that Tanya.
God Bless you 😀
